Well, I really hate age gaps too, but the thing is, Minato never took advantage of the younger guy. Shin kept on pursuing Minato, and Minato rejected him a lot of times. For me, as long as the older guy don't take advantage, i am alright with it.

y'all, no matter how much I rant and adore this series at the same time, just like what others shared, it would be much better if they inserted the amnesia plot in the first few episodes. In that way, they could flesh out, and we could see a lot of episodes wherein Akira would pursue Shin.
