I definitely enjoyed ep2 more than the first one, especially Jade, and I hope they continue on this path ... also, nice song Mai was singing at the karaoke and also nice background music some minutes later -- both Nunew songs 😋 ... keeping it in the family, I guess
(ep17, QSY and YY, shopping at the mall) QSY: Can you help me carry something else? YY: What is it? QSY: My hand. 🤣🤣🤣OMG, that was sooo smooth! I don't remember the last time I've laughed so hard.
So I just watched the first minutes of today's episode, until LSS tells TTJ "See you tomorrow" ... and I am kinda afraid to continue, especially since the next one is in 3 days ... Yeah, today I am a coward LOL
The scene between Prince Qi and Shang Guan Jing in ep 21 was so beautiful and touching ... the story moves along - quite slowly tbh - with all couples, not just the leads.
so, they literally lost the election, then lost the trial, then miho ... man, those were so brutal 60 minutes. i was constantly checking the time left and waiting for something GOOD to happen ... and it didn't. when miho told her husband that she tired and she wanted to sleep, i saw changho die inside and still he put on an almost-carefree cheerful face for miho, even going as far as talking about the next day. it felt like changho had really only been big mouth all along.
and then the scene at the pool. he said he had bought the building and kept asking the mayor about it all - like a full confession. i initially thought that it was all recorded to expose doha to the public, like he had done before with jihoon. and instead he said "thank you, now i no longer feel guilty for doing this" -- it was amazing!! imo, it was then that he really became big mouse.
so yeah, loved the ending. it was only 10 minutes, but it was more than enough. the whole story felt real, not like a superhero movie when in the end good wins it all and evil loses. also, the law had proven again and again it was not enough, so ... yeah, it all felt very real. i loved the acting, from both good and bad characters - amazing cast indeed! i really hope they go for season 2. i would absolutely love to see a good big mouse in action!
So, room leader? He did lose someone, although who knows what is the connection to SJY's paper; he can read tarrot cards - he was actually the one who explained them to PCH in the first place; he came from an orphanage - he says so when he explains his name.
But I don't know ... Jerry felt very suspicious when he asked to be let out from the hospital, too bold. We don't know why he was saying what he was saying nor who was he talking to, but he was talking about the meeting requested by PCH. Still, this isn't even the first time we're teased that he could be BM - the first was when he was missing from his hospital bed and warden Yoongab came out.
Also, I remembered another thing - wasn't the psychopath's mom also dying from leukemia, even after having received a bone marrow transplant? And she was at the same hospital. The thing that's most puzzling is why was he given those "vitamins". He's not a model prisoner, right? So, he doesn't get to go outside and work.
Before episode 9 I really though the mayor's wife was into things; now she seems just so innocent and naive in the whole affair. It makes me wonder why the elder thought she was the best to succeed him.
EP 09 INSIGHTS1) It has been clearly proven that CHOI DO HA is the one who stole the money from GONG JI HOON and…
very much agree with your first point. i think when CDH was young he was rather naive as a prosecutor, fighting for social justice, before learning about his father. that truth must have changed him very much, to the point of wanting to get into the elite NR forum to take over. and he did so by marriage. now, did he do it because he wanted to unmask the whole deal and make the elder pay for what his father suffered (i'm guessing his father was a minion of the elder) or because he literally wanted to take over and become the new master bad-guy? ngl, up until this episode i thought he was actually one of the good guys (i.e. he had buried under the sign on the mountain a single gold bar for GJH to find, ecc.); now i'm not so sure.
point number 5 is also very interesting - is BM a hero or a villain? again, at the beginning of ep1 we see all the crimes attributed to BM as news reports. how did the police know he was responsible? also, as we've learnt in ep9, BM has no problems having attributed to him crimes he didn't commit, like the gold theft. so, i wonder did he ever do any crime?
i'm still betting on Ju Hee as BM, the hero. i think she knew why CDH was marrying her and that is why she was always helping him with the elder, especially since she seems to be in such good terms with the elder. but then, i also think that she loves her husband more than she trusts him, which is why the mayor seems to think his wife is an innocent in all this - in their interactions i always feel like he is trying to apologize to her, like for not wanting to have a child with her (that is, until he saw how important family and heritage were for the elder in ep7).
still, there are many questions that need to be answered to have a complete picture. for example, i haven't seen anyone asking how did SJY manage to write that paper incriminating the elder and his organization? where did he get his info from? as we've seen with GMH, if you're not in their inner circle, it is very difficult to investigate whatever they are doing at the hospital.

YY: What is it?
QSY: My hand.
