i have a lot of thoughts. but really i’m just angry that i wasted time watching this. the whole last episode was so rushed because they had started a lot of different plot points and then tried to wrap them up all at once. for example, the husband’s confusion about who was trying to kill him took up more time than necessary.
the husband’s friend was still a bad husband at the end. they played it for laughs but it was never funny. so husband’s friend and his wife were unnecessary. i also felt we didn’t need to focus so much on the “will they won’t they” relationship with the cops. cheating isn’t funny or cute.. finally for unnecessary characters, college girlfriend. i didn’t care about anything she did. they wanted us to feel bad for her but it was hard because she’s not a good person.
the romance between writer and her assistant was hinted at when he was first introduced. then it seemed like the writers forgot that they wanted to do something with that until recently. the payoff for this “relationship” was not nice and i honestly would have preferred that they not do anything at all. because in dramas nothing is worse than a hinted future relationship not coming into fruition.
finally, the worst part is our lead not knowing about the affair until less than 5 minutes left in the entire show. (or at least not acknowledging it) as an audience, we were subjected to watching the dirtbag husband cheat throughout the whole series. the only thing that got me through it was imagining how good she was going to get him. yet, we don’t get that. the last scene she stabs him and upbeat music starts playing in the background????? why???? and then it just ends! does he die? was this real this time or another trick knife? did she know all along and learning that he wanted her dead was what pushed her over the edge? or did she really not know the entire time? none of this is answered and yet it should be. it’s infuriating to say the least.
overall i would never even consider rewatching this and i’d never recommend it to anyone.
it’s honestly getting frustrating. there are so many characters that this show follows but i don’t care about them. i don’t like the husband, or the college girl but we’re seeing so much of them. i also don’t really care about the detectives... idk it’s just starting feel draggy to me.
ummm did eun hyuk die? like i didn’t like his character but i’m a big fan of lee do hyun so i’d love him in a second season but he can’t do it if he’s dead ya know
all the actors are great in this! i had never seen jeon jong seo before this but she’s fantastic. also i think this is park shine hye’s best role in a while.
I only started this because of Yoon, but the first episode was really good! I’m excited to watch more. (also it reminds me a bit of signal, my all time favorite drama, with the time thing.
plz why do dramas do this?? the main guy’s secret is that he’s a chaebol high schooler?? why would they need to write this? he could’ve just been secretly rich? why is he in high school?
I don’t think I’m gonna be able to finish this one.. The main guy is literally one of the worst characters in a drama this year. And I know that the drama will probably show us why he acts like this but there’s literally nothing I can think of that would make this ok. I’m sorry P.O but I’ll just have to get the next one.
the second guy is getting on my nerves. he’s so obsessed with ra ra but he doesn’t even really know her. he’s creepy and i genuinely wish he wasn’t a character.
This is a weird drama but you’ll never see anything like it. I’m loving it so far. Also I love the cg, if it look more realistic it would look really gross, so I like that they went with this.
