He probably wants someone that is easier to control, while Seok Hee does whatever she wants the other heirs will probably listen better because they're only there by marriage so he can kick them out by divorcing. Also if he ends up being involved in the mother's death then he's probably worried she'd try to take him or the company down

If they met before she was sent away for 15 years then the dad must've brought the new wife home right after the other one died, not very surprising with how vile he seems

that's what I'm thinking but I don't remember if it was mentioned, I know they weren't in any flashbacks but Seok Hee seems to talk to them as if she has known them for awhile? even though it seemed like the older one only met her a year ago in NY

she was away for only 15 years so if they are children of mistresses he must've been doing stuff like that long before the mother died? that and the fact that the older one keeps hitting on Seok Hee made me hope that they aren't blood-related to her, he might just be a weirdo though honestly

I get that Seo Jin is Seok Hee's half brother, but what are the other 2 heirs in relation to her? Were they just a buy-1-get-2-free deal when the stepmother married into the family?
(edit) ep 3 showed that Seok Hee met them before being sent abroad, just going to assume they're the stemother's with no blood-relation to her at all

I thought that too at first but at around 7 minutes in episode 5 (the split one) he says "My ex-wife in the real world, but she's my current wife here"?
It could be mistranslated, I guess we'll have to see more flashbacks of those two together from the 1st world to know for sure

I'm enjoying it so far, the 3 FMLs are all likable in different regards and the different ways they approach romance should be interesting to see. All the shots of the 4 leads just sitting around being buddy-buddy with each other is so chill and nice to see honestly

slightly unrelated but I do find it odd that a prosecutor works directly inside a detective building. Maybe that's normal but I didn't notice because law dramas usually focus on lawyers instead of prosecutors though

I'm kinda amazed this girl got as far as she has as a detective. She blatantly dismisses any idea that she disagrees with without even thinking about it and assumes at a glance who is innocent. It looks like she doesn't care about finding what's true as much as she wants to be right even when she's clearly wrong

I was contemplating White Christmas because it's from 2011 and Scholar because it's historical but I'll check both of them too! Now I have things to watch while waiting for 'When the Devil Calls Your Name' to end haha

It's interesting that this show is doing such a good job of making the watchers pretty much collectively think the same things. Like loving the HR teacher & Jun Woo, waiting for Hwi Young's demise with popcorn, and most of all everyone being left in tears or immense sadness after what they did to us with EP 4

I thought so too, even the way the character acts is kind of like some of his roles

Jun Woo proving once more what a nice kid he is, risking his school life yet again to help his old friend. It seems like Hwi Young is just going to keep escalating with his filthy acts until he crashes and burns which I'm so waiting for so I can revel about it

I hope one day this HR teacher will be treated with respect though, poor guy

Hwi Young got straight A's for the Bastard subject, that must've been what he was studying for. now we wait for him to get his comeuppance, I wonder how often they'll make Jun Woo bolt in an all-out sprint throughout the show
