Of course my friend. YXY goes to LuMeng the new company of NM & LJM and helps them take down Mr. Qiu and some other side characters. In return NM promotes her twice. 1st as manager and then Director/President. It was cute how she stayed with NM and also grew along the way.

Her ending in the novel is great. I think they are going to stick to the same for her in the drama with some of the hints and foreshadowing.

NM will feel she owes LJM because of the meeting in tomorrow's episode. Losing his dad and the road to bankruptcy is just around the corner.

He was with her when she got the group message about LJM's dad's companys issues at 39.39 in episode 24.

LJM tries to help his dad but falls in the end because SWR internally blocked and ruined all his chances leading to LJM's dad stroke & death while LJM ends up bankrupt and in debt. SWR wants LJM to lose everything so he won't have a chance to steal NM away.

2nd ML

That's part of what the story shows. Her best friends bf and her best friend were together for over 10 years but she never really knew him even though he seemed sweet and caring on the outside. LJM has a foul mouth but he genuinely cares for those close to him. His foul mouth and personality will improve after he losses it all.

In the novel originally going after ML's dad's company was just another job for him. But after he found out it was ML's dad due to his jealously and hatred for rich 2nd generations after being betrayed it severely damaged him. The scars led to his split personality disorder. One side that does questionable things to make money and the other side that is gentle and loving to NM. His love for her is sincere but the way he loves her and his actions are wrong. That's a short summary of it.

LJM tries to help his dad but SWR blocks on his options and intentionally assist with her best friends bf to bring down his father's company and take down LJM. 2nd ML strong dislikes rich 2nd generations because his first gf cheated and left him for one now with NM. LJM also likes her. After he falls to bottom. NM will help him rebuild his career and take down SWR and her best friends bf. In the novel her best friend ended up committing suicide because of the betrayal. From the previews it looks like the drama may have changed that .

At the pace they are adapting the story from the novel I predict about episode 26 or 27 is when LJM's dad will pass away from the stroke after losing his company and LJM will go bankrupt.

Song Song just has that charm. Her acting in this role there's so much growth in her expressions. She does a wonderful job conveying the thoughts and emotions.

On the surface it may seem like the old-fashioned story of "the domineering president fell in love with me", but the core is an inspirational theme of a woman's pursuit of independence and self-improvement. Romance is not the main focus in the story. This is not an idol drama. They've done a brilliant job adapting it from the novel and I'm excited for the last 8 episodes.

In the novel LJM is 27 at the beginning and NM is 25. The novel ends when they are 30 & 32.
