⇀ stray kids match ⁎ the new six: I'M TRYING NOT TO BE BIASED, BUT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!! THEY CHOSE ONE OF THE BEST BSIDES OF STRAY KIDS AND DID A MAGNIFICENT PERFORMANCE. it's definitely in my hall of favorite performances of kingdom/queendom saga 😭😭😭
⁎ tempest: intro was amazing, i loved the frankestein lab vibe they brought. but i'm not gonna lie, i felt like the rest of the performance was so-so (except for the high note part, that was a highlight). i wish they had chosen miroh, because it's the bright concepts that really make them stand out. AND WHY DIDN'T THEY PUT EUIWOONG ON RAP CHARGE? HE WOULD HAD ROCKED
for me, the new six made a better perfomance in this match
⇀ enhypen match ⁎ 8turn: ah, rebellion's concept... it reminds me of good times in kpop. btw, future perfect is the only enhypen title i can't stand, but i found myself dancing along w them, so i think they did a good job
⁎ younite: their live vocals aren't thaaaaat good (w exceptions) but, man, the performance... i'm speechless. eunsang, sweet, you did so well 🙂↕️
okaaay, these are my thoughts and rankings of the performances
ace's perfomance:
1. tnx junhyeok (until it came to his performance, i really believed it would just be dance performances. it was a relief to see at least ONE person step up to the mic and show they can sing. the song choice was perfect too!) 2. 8turn myungho 3. tempest hanbin 4. oneus hwanwoong 5. crewone jimin 6. younite dew 7. cravity hyeongjun
i didn't think any of the performances were bad. i feel that hyeongjun was disadvantaged by the order of the performance, as his performance came after some very good ones, which is why seemed so-so
team's perfomance:
1. oneus (I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH I'M CRYING I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY CHOSE THIS SONG TO PERFORM ONEEEEEEEEEUS I LOVE YOU) 2. 8turn (loved the concept) 3. tnx (i don't like the original song but this mashup was so good, they did a good job) 4. tempest (song is good, stage is pretty. poor hyuk w his dislocated arm) 5. crewone (choreo is dope bUT WHERE'S THE SINGIIIIIIIIIN'?) 6. younite (reminded me of ateez w that rhythm ta performance in kingdom, but with a bad and less interesting perfomance. btw, rap was good)
it's a strange feeling to see my x1 boys on an mnet reality show again, i want to cry because i'm happy to see some of them reunited on the same stage and i also want to cry of sadness because they could have gone so far if it wasn't for fucking mnet
