idrc i just had to speak my mind. i probably wouldn't engage her anymore whenever she's on another cheat rant.

i'm just glad i was able to enjoy the drama the way i did. really hate to be those people.

i seriously dont get why she's constantly complaining on every cheating trope in every storyline. it looks like a personal attack on her when it really shouldn't be that deep

for period dramas, their portrayal is pretty much accurate because men cheated a lot back in those days and abused their wives. it's common knowledge. if a woman cheated, she was penalized harshly and faced brutal criticism. so, when they did, it was mostly in secret. in a period drama i watched (can't remember the name), i think the government of that era sentenced a woman to death for cheating and wanting to divorce her husband. i might be wrong, though, but that’s how i remember it.
