i can’t believe people are calling ji su a player??? ep 3 quite literally shows he’s ride or die. if he was he would’ve made it clear to fl that he was only removing the tag on her clothe and not trying to flirt with her while smirking
the ml is the most second lead-ml i’ve ever seen omg. he doesn’t even take steps towards the fl. but shin ji su🥹 what a golden retriever. he’s not yet in love with the fl but he treats her too well. if he doesn’t end up with her i’m kms
since the year started with the very first drama, love scout. every fl has been hated on. how about we make "not hating fls unnecessarily" a resolution for 2026? huh?
money, debt, billions, capitalism, super powers, house set on fire, wedding destroyed by fire, reality, loan... did i mention debt, loan & BILLIONSSS?? nobody understands how overstimulated and drained i am because of this 8 ep drama
no shade but how are you so bothered about this one actress when they literally all act the same in every cdrama.…
i get why you’re mentioning those modern c-dramas, but i actually tried one of them and couldn’t get past the first episode. the overall vibe was different, sure, but the female lead archetype was still very obvious to me. once i clock that pattern, i usually bow out early because i know it’s just not for me.
so for me, it’s less about not having watched enough and more about recognizing the standard the genre operates on. different aesthetics don’t always mean different character construction.
at this point it feels less like an issue with the character or the genre and more like an issue with the actress herself. because the fl here is operating within the same archetype that other modern c-dramas have used successfully and been praised for. so the criticism feels selective rather than structural.
