Thank you for your article. Because of it, I watched the J version and I agree it's the best one in all the points you mention. Even though I really liked the second ML in the J version in my personal preference, I don't think any actor can top the second ML of the K version but otherwise, all is so much better. I didn't even mind the lower budget settings.
What I most appreciated in the J version is the main couple's relationship as they truly act like close childhood friends. Especially I was amazed as to how I could relate the ML to his childhood version, sweet and dorky, which the other versions don't convey at all.

You might be able to bypass the problem if you download and install a VPN which will make the wifi connection through other countries . I am in Indonesia and have installed "ExpressVPN" which is one of the best for this area. I did research first and chose a paid one but there are others for free like "Lantern" . I can watch 99% of the shows from different servers by choosing different countries to connect from including WeTV. Hope this might help you

I am actually enjoying that the story revolves around their relationship and both trying to navigate it in the best way possible in spite of their shortcomings and mistakes due to fears and insecurities on her part and relationship clueless on his. The friends' couple story I just skip it all because I cannot warm up to his over childish character. The only the thing that sometimes feels flat, is that the ML acting seems off in some of the scenes with long speeches in over static scenes. Does anyone get the same feeling?

It's kind of fun how the second ML tried to take advantage by endearing himself with the FL's family and ends up getting very troubled. It is also very refreshing to see the relationship of the main couple evolving steadily since episode 1 in a very satisfying way, that in spite of the characters shortcomings and mistakes, these are dealt with as they come and not dragged in endless misunderstandings and sufferings.
