Hello! How are you? I wanted to tell you that I had started watching Shark and Cyrano and I agree with your comments about both of them. They are an 8 and a 7 on my list also but I think there is room for improvement. I also started watching another jTBC drama, Cruel City (with Jung Kyung Ho from Smile, you and Time between dog and wolf, Lee Jae Yoon from Queen of Ambition and Nam Gyu Ri from 49 days) and I find it pretty interesting. It is quite different and a little darker than what I expected... I was surprised when I discovered it and I am impressed once again by Jung Kyung Ho's acting. I also wanted to ask what do you think about Monstar? Do you recommend this drama? Should I watch it now? Thank you!

Hello! Yes, thank you. I have some free time now, because I received a scholarship in Italy, for three months. The Internet access is limited where I am, but it is OK, because I try to keep up with the recaps and with the drama news. I am really happy to see that you liked Salaryman, because it is a 10 on my list also. I see that you started watching May Queen (I liked the first part a lot) and Incarnation of money (it's from the writer of Salaryman). By the way, there is another drama from the same writer and director. It'a a long one (60 episodes), but for me it was a nice watch. It's called GIANT and it is with Jin Goo and Kim Soo Hyun (the first 7 episodes) and later with Lee Bum Soo from Salaryman, Joo Sang Wook from TEN, Hwang Jung Eum from Incarnation of Money and many others from Salaryman. So, they tend to use the same cast also. Maybe you would like this kind of drama also.

I am sorry for the late reply. I was busy with some exams. Well, Virus premieres in March and Special Affairs Team TEN Season 2 starts shooting this month. We need some patience, but OCN deserves it! By the way, Joo Won and Park Ki Woong are adorable! Besides that, I am curious to find out what you think about Time between dog and wolf after the second episode. But the thing that made me really happy is the fact that you are currently addicted to Salaryman! I was totally surprised by this drama last year and I really enjoyed the ending scenes from each episode! I am glad you like it too!

:) Totally agree! And Ki Joon and Dong Bi were the only reason I finished the drama. I would also watch a drama just for them. Padam Padam is on my Plan to watch list, because I heard only good things about it, I watched some videos with the actors and I am quite curious. It's the same with Childless Comfort, because I have already watched some of the actors in other dramas. It has many characters and I am interested to find out more about their stories. This way, I can choose the things I want to watch. I am waiting for the subs, like the others. Meanwhile, I am watching the other dramas and I am ready to find more good dramas. Right now, you make me want to start watching Piece faster than I thought. By the way, I like the scene you used for Flower Boy Next Door. :) Again, tvN being tvN. And ,,the dark crime cousin'' OCN is making a drama called The Virus, a mystery thriller...

:) Your comment about ,,shining Edward'' makes me smile. I had similar experiences with some of my friends. That's the reason some dramas are so addictive. They show us something different.
I totally agree. The '90s were quite special for the ones who had the opportunity to ,,be there''. Many of us could relate to the characters from Reply 1997 and even to various situations.
The dramas from tvN and OCN are my favorites and then those from KBS, SBS and MBC. Well, I watched only Can we get married from jTBC, but they had some good ratings with Padam Padam, A wife's credentials and now they recorded an 8% rating with Childless Comfort. That is A LOT for a cable drama, but it is very difficult to find the episodes with subs, at least for now. Maybe someone will pay more attention to some of these shows. At the moment, we should thank tvN and OCN for opening the road to ,,something else''.

I know. The writers are VERY good. Plus, Yoon Jung Hoon was perfect for playing Prosecutor Min. He was everything he was supposed to be, in a surprising and interesting way. Everything was different and the ratings (although not as high as the ones for Reply 1997) showed once again the quality of cable dramas. tvN, OCN and now jTBC dramas are a breath of fresh air and they really deserve to be noticed.

I feel exactly the same way. Let's hope so, especially since OCN with Vampire Prosecutor managed to create one of the best second seasons from dramaland, irrespective of country. They really seem to know what they are doing. Only Bloody Monday and a few other dramas had a similar impact. We can only wait and see.

:) This is what I think about this type of endings. Let's hope they will give us at least some answers in the next season. OCN deserves all the attention it gets.

:) I am glad to hear that you liked TEN! I know, it is quite confusing, but I guess they wanted to keep us interested in the second season. I hope they keep the same cast, because otherwise it would be weird for the sake of the whole story. I loved the OST, especially the band that sings on the OST of The man from nowhere and the song at the end of the series, when they showed the cast having fun on the set. I also liked the fact that they paid attention to the details. They made the characters more human.

Related to the questions that remained unanswered, I think the producers of Vampire Prosecutor did something similar with the end of season 2. They want to make us say: ,,What? Who? Is this all? Really?" or something like that. That is not necessarily a bad thing either. :)

:) I want to see more of that too. :)

You can't help dropping a drama that you don't like or when you can't stand the characters. As much as you like an actor, you just can't help it.

Hippies and punks suggest a lot of fun. :) I am glad to hear that.

What he managed to do is surprising and important for South Korea and for South-East Asia in general. This way, many people keep discovering new things about that part of the world. So I have to thank him too. :)

I totally agree! It is a very nice suprise to find Korean or Japanese shows on your national TV channels.
As I read somewhere, YooChun has three sides of his character: an interesting detective one, a funny family one and a big crying one. He won an award for his part and he received the award from JaeJoong. They were happy for each other and it was very cute! :)

:) I saw White Christmas before To the beautiful you or A Gentleman's Dignity and I am happy that his character from School 2013 is, in a way, similar to Kang Mi Reu. He can prove his acting skills and there is still time for Park Heung Soo to be developed. Yes, Kim Young Kwang is a pleasure to watch. I know him from Take care of the young lady, where he was ,,one of the butlers'' and I am really glad to see him grow as an actor.
MBC aired the Awards on December 30 and SBS and KBS last night. I wasn't able to watch them live either, but I foud all three ceremonies super fast on YouTube. It was nice. I hope the party went according to plan. 70's style sounds really good! I hope you had fun!

:) Yes, I think so too. As I said, we are interested in the same things about Can we get married, especially in Dong Bi and Ki Joon relationship. I think White Christmas needs to be mentioned again, due to the presence of Kim Young Kwang and Sung Joon in Can we get married and the presence of Kim Woo Bin and Kwak Jung Wook in School 2013.
Anyway, School 2013 and King of dramas will air only on January 1, due to KBS Drama Awards and to SBS Drama Awards (aired on December 31). As someone wrote: ,,Bad news for addicts". At least we have one more episode to watch and we can enjoy it.

The pictures are not exactly what we would expect from the set, especially after you finished watching all the episodes aired so far. I am glad to see the happy side of the drama.
This happens to me a lot with my favorite actors. :)

:) It's cheating, but sometimes I do the same thing. Some dramas seem to get better this way, because you skip some scenes and you don't watch characters that you don't care about. And I bet we are curious about the same characters from Can we get married.
Regarding the new dramas, I completely agree! School and Alice are my favorites, because I don't really understand all the characters from Missing you, I find the drama a little bit too sad and I enjoy every scene that brings a little happiness.
Related to jdramas, I agree again. I liked the same things about them (especially Miura Haruma) and this is the reason I mentioned Liar Game at the end of the list (but I started watching the drama because I liked Matsuda Shota in other dramas). I forgot to mention Narimiya Hiroki in Stand up!, the drama with Yamapi and Oguri Shun. It was fun to watch them being friends and acting goofy. :)

I know what you mean. The characters are arguing a lot in Can we get married. This is why I find Missing you, Cheongdamdong Alice and School 2013 way more interesting.
Well... some J-dramas that I like are: Orange Days, Bloody Monday, Buzzer Beat, Pride, Nagareboshi (a simple and touching story), Love Shuffle (a quite interesting idea after the first episode), One million stars falling from the sky (a more serious and complicated drama), Tatta hitotsu no koi (an innocent and romantic story), Hotaru no hikari (cute), Tokyo DOGS (a funny friendship between detectives), Q10 (nice), Stand Up (a funny and crazy side of Yamapi and Oguri Shun), Byakuyako (a dark and sad story), Nobuta wo produce (friendship), Liar Game and the movies Tada kimi wo aishiteru and Kimi ni todoke. Maybe you would like some of them.

Hi! I was REALLY impressed with the first (long) episode of TEN also. And I like the actors a lot. The 4 characters are perfect as a team, in a pretty strange but interesting way. I like that very much!
Yes, I know what you mean! I have been rewatching jdramas lately and today I started to watch Can we get married (just to see how they tell the story), Missing you (mostly for Yeo Jin Goo), Cheongdamdong Alice (for Park Shi Hoo in particular) and School 2013 (because I heard only good things about this drama). I like them so far and I am looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes. I hope the stories will develop nicely.
