Thanks, but I've watched that. Though it was pretty good and I liked it a lot the last 10 episodes of that show were a little slow to me. I like this show too, but I wanted something different with the historical theme.

Can somebody please suggest similar dramas to me but with less scheming and fewer concubines?

Just came here to say, whoever made the recommendations for this show, big salute to you since they are mostly the perfect match as I did not like this drama and didn't like most of the recommendations too.

Young people always talk about age as they will never age themselves and how strange - not bad strange - it is that people have completely different tastes, as someone like me, I always prefered mature men instead of a boyish kind since I was very young (Perhaps because I'm not very girlish neither).
They don't even have much of an age gap compared to what happens in reality. If you call them ugly and old don't get sad if someone tells you the same when you also reach the age - which you certainly will, I hope.
As for the show, I still like it with all the flaws it has. Waiting for the next episode.

I think many parts are not done well and it could have been far better, but in general, I like Park Shin Hye's acting. I think she always has a very realistic performance and she's one of the rarest most natural faces that I've ever seen in the Korean entertainment industry - I don't feel like I'm watching a beautiful tribe of different creatures, haha, just kidding. Most of the time she gives me this strong woman vibe but I have to admit I don't like all of her works. This is good enough for me. I think the different storyline (compared to other Korean dramas) is always the key for me and she usually plays these kinds of roles.
The part that they were in the station and everyone had masks on but them, that was a little funny and very obvious not to notice. :)

What I always think about stories like this as I always do is that men should take responsibility for their children as much as women do. If a father leaves his child we never look at him the way we do to a mother that does that. Why? What's the difference!? Either we have to give single mothers equal (or even more) economic chances, with equal payment and support, and also full control over their bodies and offer them birth control methods and abortion, or we can't really judge them if they are not capable mothers and would leave that child in this unequal world, as the father goes on having his joyful life and probably more success whilst the mother's life is doomed and sacrificed.

She has the potential to hurt someone, and if she wants to have a good relationship and a better social life she must be pushed to see a doctor. people with the antisocial disorder don't usually decide by themselves to see a doctor because they don't think they do things wrong. As I said either she didn't have an antisocial disorder that means she was just rude and aggressive knowingly. Or she did have it and very unrealistically she just decided to understand things better by herself which is not the case in reality.

Yes they get different punishment but they go to hospitals away from the society when they have hurt people. That's the problem antisocial people don't just reach better understanding of their actions by talking to someone supportive without a good level of treatment from professionals. As I said it was explicitly shown that this love has changed her and she gonna have a good romantic love they way she is now without treatment and never was implied she is going to get some. While that's not the case in real life.

Where did I say she is a rich bitch? We all have some kind of disorder. That does not justify our wrongdoings toward people. She has to try at least to fix herself and atone. So you say if someone has a mental problem, that tends to hurt people physically or kills people, for example, everyone should just google it and understand it and let it go? We don't have time or are responsible just to understand someone's behavior when they are hurting us or insulting us repeatedly as this character does to everyone (not just her close circle of people). Well, either she has to seek treatment seriously or she is not justified in any way. If she does not look for a treatment that means she does not want to be in society so she shouldn't be. By the way, I don't find her to be just antisocial in many aspects as you know (because you have googled it) people with this disorder just don't change and heal when they are with a specific person and they are not capable of love in many cases proven. They don't suddenly change even with harsh treatment.

Even though I dropped this drama, but it had one of the best kiss scenes I've ever seen (with Dr. Benjang). Very sentimental.

The music was one of the elements that were very captivating in my opinion and the story too and Cinematography. I also love fantasy and thriller dramas like this with this kind of side love story. The love story is short but very deep, mature, and realistic.

I agree with you. Fans can sometimes be too much and they become very irrational when it comes to criticism. I wanted to also write a review for that show but I haven't finished it yet (I'm not sure I would). I was scared if I do and fans would come at me. I exactly didn't like the female character (and I can't say I loved the male lead). my reason was that I think she is too dramatic (perhaps that's why people like it). Very arrogant. She had everything one could ask for and still she was very rude to others. She needed only a man to bring her into her senses, and how good people's bad behavior is always justified somehow. I can't stand it.
