nope..It's got nothing to do with age..It's about how long you've been a member...before the hacking everyone had edit button regardless of being a new or old members...

those members registered after the hacking incident don't have an edit option...and recently Magz got her edit button..so we guess that when you reach a year here is when the time we can get our edit button...

but it's just my presumption...because of what happen to Magz...
