Yah i totally agree and i even think that its a myth to think that all western parents are lacksist, in our house our parents were always the law. So i have a easier time getting some of the aspect of the dramas when i watch them.
lol I don't know but with a lot more to think about I think Rooftop prince was kind of overrated lol people I just voting because of Micky Yoochun lol Because seriously I think that the best out of all of them is probably Gentlemen's Dignity. Even thought I also Like Vampire prosecutor ( great second season.) God Quiz 3.( hoping for a four.) King2Hearts ( was my favorite until I turn into Gentleman's Dignity.) Ghost was decent ( the cop stuff were just way to surreal stupid for me.) Repy me 1997 was cute and funny and made me seriously go down memory lane. Arang was really cute too.
Well for someone who is now married to a Korean guy ( drama had nothing to do with it lol) that it's true that watching some of these drama had help me deal with some aspect of meeting his family but, being mixed too African and white I was already kind of familiar with most of these thing, because contrarily to what people think Africans and Asians have a lot of similar customs where it comes to filial piety and how an elder voice is the law. And the way you should talk to an elder or anyone older than you, or someone with who u are not that close with is also similar to Asian way. But then again it's sometime hard to make the transition from one culture influence to the other seing that I was more raise in western household even though my mom made it a point of respecting the hierarchy.
Ok still I haven't beside to watch Meteor Garden or Hi My sweetheart thought their are in my TWL. But if I was to make my own top five TW drama I would go by 5. Tokyo Juliet ( Ariel Lin and Wu Chung and Love or Bread with Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. ( this two goes together because still today I can never decide witch one I like best. 4. Love Contract With Ariel Lin and Mike He . 3. Both It started with a kiss and They Kiss Again ( I just take it has one drama.) With Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. 2. Autumn Concerto ( this is just a must see classic of good drama.) 1. Mars ( this drama really does deserve the number one place, it's just touching beautiful and just wow. ) With Vic Zhou and Barbie Hsu. But that just it's more of a top of my head thing but if I was really to make a list I think In time with you, Sunny Happiness, Summer Desire, Love keeps going, smiling Pasta, and Fated to Love you will definitely be fighting to be included in my top 5. Because it depend a lot on the mood I'm in at that moment.

lol the ending for ep 10 was lmao with all their facial expression but seriously Cha Seung Joo facial expresion spelled more in your face kind of situation more than anything lol
I totally agree with the mess about all this dramas, I was disappointed in everyone of them, I still don't understand what went one on Dr Jin, thought I now sure that it's a remake of the Japanese drama Jin. I'm not even going to get started on Dream High 2.
