yk what assuming later in plot that it was the emperor the mastermind, pei yi comes to know all of it then SHE plays along with everyone like it's all the same and then usurp the throne in the process. i think this can be a nice plot twist but it's mentioned in the synopsis that "In the process, Li Pei Yi unravels the truth behind a ten-year-old murder and exposes a conspiracy involving the right prime minister and a concubine."

if duke su and le pei yi were paired, the secret behind that "murder mystery" would have been out and then REVENGE arc definitely be so ✨ LIT ✨

Xiao Huai Jin is cute and he is way too relatable for me except the deduction part!! he's kinda sherlock of this drama but in reserved way obvio👻
