I don't know how to describe but he knew Bo Ra's mom from when they were younger and i believe they meet each other by their moms, that's why Jun Soo see Bo Ra as his sister. Then next part of her step family aka Ah Ri and her dad, they meet Bo Ra's mom when i guess Jun Soo went out off country. So, that's how he don't know about or heard of them. Even if he knew that he don't know Ah Ri as her step sister. Bo Ra and Ah Ri somehow hid it from everyone and i don't know the reason because i must have skip that part.
And yes the weird part is how he didn't know their name. Since it's a long drama; they can say as a excuse that Jun Soo never asked for that, lol.
