I don't know why but this drama makes me feel like I have watched this exact storyline in a different drama. Like maybe it has been redone or something.
I didn't find it on Kocowa, iQiyi, or viki. I found it on On Demand Korea, but it is not getting subbed and you can only watch with the premium membership. Perhaps it will pop up on the KBS youtube channel, but they usually run a week or two behind when it was aired.
I don't think it has anything to do with content of the 2 shows. I think social media that rapidly spread for squid game was the game changer between these 2 shows. Personally I liked Alice in Borderland much more then squid games, but it wasn't caught up in the social media like squid games. Also it came earlier on shortly after netflix started really getting into production of Asian drama's so it was not pushed to the forfront for viewers popping onto netflix looking for something to watch.
You guys keep talking about sexual abuse. The 2 articles I read said nothing about sexual abuse. Only verbal abuse, making kids shuttle for them and hitting and kicking. While I understand this is not good behavior, It is a far cry from sexual abuse. This is something that should have been addressed when it happened, not years later when it is hard to prove what was what. Of course now he has lots of money so it is perfect timing to be saying something.
He was a kid in middle school. I don't understand why this wasn't handled at the time it happened... Sounds to me like yes, he was a naughty boy, but then got himself straightened out and made something of himself. Now someone who was hurt decides years later maybe I can get something out of him now, lets go after him and and make him pay. I think it is ludicrous to hurt his career for something that he did as a child.
