Was awakened in the middle of the night. Decided to listen to Our Song OST, and shedding tears thinking about…
Benedict bestie, i keep thinking how they ended the ep with "Good luck buddy" and start crying so yeah, the characters are fictional, but the emotional investment is real.
I just wanna say I was some sort of visionary when I wrote this in the music thread, before ep.11 even aired "Kacha Nontanun Anchuleepradit - จะไม่บอกใครละกันว่าเธอชอบฉันก่อน Secret (episodes 6-10)"
between this and the correct prediction of ep.10, I feel like sitting in P'Aof's pocket.
Not gonna lie, the more theories and ideas I read, the sicker I get, I think I'm gonna head out of social media for a while and work on the BB music thread a bit.
I get it why it's the nostalgic thing for you. For many, finally getting the depiction of the non-hetero-normative narrative in mainstream media was a shocking discovery, like, we could see it on the telly! I know it was for me!
I absolutely don't understand why mainland China and Taiwan are so pressed into making this whole 'step-brothers' trope so popular. Like, can we not? Don't we have enough bad stereotypes involved the LGBT community for them to keep pursuing the image of gay people being in love with their family members? I guess it's a conversation for another day, it just makes me furious about the whole thing,
I'm not saying it's a bad show, it's so controversial and there are many things that could have been done in a different way so we wpuldn't get that LGBT content ban in China.
- expanded episode 10 (rooftop tunes still missing. If ANYONE has them, please share!!)
- added episode 11
This is still work in progress!!
Check the first post which has the most comprehensive list of songs used in each episode.
If there is anything missing, please reply in that thread, I'll add to the main post and credit you!
