Now I understand the bad reviews. I think this drama is so realistic, that's why people hate it. As someone who's also very independent, I don't need people spending for me, I feel like they will get back at me for doing those things. OR I might feel like I'm a charity work that needs help always. I also understood how she forgave herself first, or Gan Yang before coming back to him. If the person I love is the reason why I can't meet my mom on her last days, I will really cut off that person on my life. The FL's character is well written, I can relate to her so much. Gan Yang's character is also well written. I love them both. I love how Gan Yang isn't pushy, he understands, and i love him for that. People hates flawed character, but I love them. 10/10 for the execution. I love Chen Feiyu as Sunshine. I hope he does more roles like this in the future.

As a daughter, if my parents aren't someone who's like "Ye Yibo" I'd do the same thing as Shen Cheng did. What would life be if my mother is suffering? She deserves the world. And they are in different timeline, they didn't have really a formal communication like "Twinkling Watermelon" that would enlighten Haitang and Yixun who they will be in the future. If it's like "Go back couple" I think Haitang will also do the same as keeping her child. But no, they are clueless, the future isn't clear, they are still living in the present, which is 1991. Shen Cheng was brave, I commend him for that, and that is a child's love for his mother.

I was expecting a sad ending, but they gave mr a happy ending, a satisfying one. The ending really made my heart at ease. I'm so proud of them, not only to Ye Haitang and Tang Yixun, but also to Yu nian and Shen Cheng. I love this so much. Praising Wang Yinglu and Zhou Yiran for their acting. A solid 10/10.

No one told me this would be too painful for me tk watch. (I like sad ending cdramas) I'm really scared of the ending, I had to pause and calm down my emotions. Zhou Yiran and Wang Yinglu nailed this😭😭

Actually no, Sima Jiao went under tribulation, a new spirit fire was lit, I think Tingyan unknowingly lit it when Jiao transferred the spirit fire to her. The new spirit fire returned to Jiao's body(I think he became immortal?) because when Tingyan asked him if he can stay by her side for a long time, he said "as long as you want" and he assured her to not be afraid.

Actually in the novel, she didn't go back to her world. She became the ruler of the demons when Sima Jiao died. After Sima Jiao's reincarnation, she followed him to the mortal realm and they got married there. Sima Jiao formally introduced Sisi(the snake) as his son(in the novel, sisi maintained child like appearance and always gets affectionate whenever seeing Sima Jiao. Sisi is looking over the mortal realm, while Hong Lou(Tingyan's besfriend in demon realm) is looking over the demon realm. Sima Jiao and Tingyan traveled around the world, because Sima Jiao knows that Tingyan's dream is to travel and experience great things of the world.

I'm here because I'm watching When destiny crings demon and I miss Chen Feiyu so much. I also love Zhou Ye, not much of a tear jerker for me(I don't usually cry) BUT THEY DID SO WELL. I hope they get a drama together😭
