The Taiwanese version was pretty amazing although the second season was a drag,riding on the first one's popularity.I haven't watched the Japanese version yet and so can't say much about it.

Han Ji won was just fantastic in King2Hearts.Her scenes with Lee Seung Gi were cute..<3.I had watched the Taiwanese version of Playful Kiss first and had heavily compared the two,so Playful kiss isn't one of my favorites.Although ,as you said,it was pretty cute and funny.

I read a few negative comments about Lee Seung Gi too.People have called him frog faced and all just because he isn't conventionally good looking.I personally think he's a great actor.I was pretty surprised on finding out he's an idol because generally idols aren't impressive when it comes to acting. I think King2hearts is one of his best works.
I am glad Dream High didn't show the leads getting married because usually when a drama starts out a school level and then ends with the leads getting married the viewers are made to skip and jump a lot of years and we loose out on potential character development.They tried this with Playful Kiss but then the ending seemed rushed and dis-satisfactory..

Dream High sure was cute.I liked the fact that they choose professional singers for the cast because their confidence in their voice made up for the unsteady acting.Although Kin Soo Hyun was quite a revelation.He was the sole reason I watched The Moon That Embraces The Sun.He can pull off diverse roles and thats really impressive.
The flower boy series should keep progressing.They choose the best actors and the stories have a slight bend towards reality and thats the one thing dramas plots lack in general.I am waiting for the next one too.
I am glad you say Shining Inheritance is a must watch because the a lot of people have advised me adversely.But I am sure I 'll love it cause Moon Chae Won is in the cast and I'd watch any drama she does..Are you still watching Heirs?How is it going? I have put it on hold as of now..

Reply 94 is good so far although Reply 97 had a stronger storyline .94 has retained a lot from the original. You'll like Reply 94 if you have liked Reply 97.

I didn't like Full House T2 at all.It was a cringe-worthy attempt at reviving a classic(at-least in my opinion).The original was way better.I think shut up had the best storyline.I liked it better than Dream High even though they had similar plots.As for period dramas,you should start off with something light.Try Queen In Hyun's Man...:)..Also is Shining Inheritance good?I am planning on watching it next..:)

The same happens with me.There are dramas that I start with full enthusiasm but don't manage to finish.Thats usually because of college and its never ending projects exams etc..
I LOVE the oh boy series,Shut Up being my favourite.Also City Hunter,King2Hearts,Full House.I have recently started watching historical dramas and have really enjoyed Iljimae,
Sungkyunkwan Scandal and The Painter of the Wind...What about you? Do you watch period dramas??

I am liking Heirs so far..but it hasn't matched up to my expectations yet..I am finding Reply 1994 more soothing to watch..
