That moment when park jung gil saw everything that happened in his past life😭 i know their connection is severed and its been a long time since then but i wish that part was a bit more dramatic you know what im saying😔 i rlly loved the blend of modern and historical setting. I love historical kdramas anyways though most of the love stories end up doomed💔 this was not an exception. Anyways, i rlly didnt expect myself to love this drama as much as i did. Idk why i let it rot in my watchlist for so long, its so gooddd

IKR😭im at ep 10, girl is literally making it worse at every point. I was starting to like her after the war ended but the way she twisted every thing abt lee jang hyeon. It would have been so much easier if she was not so obsessed with yeon jun and gave him a chance. He was even willing to marry her to make her accept his feeling and was okay with her not being able to give up on yeon jun. She might not have accepted the marriage proposal if she knew he was alive and that he was the one who saved them on ganghwa island. They would have been perfect for each other if they just took time to understand each other but she kept turning away from him even when she knew she had feelings for him. She was even willing to run away with him on the boat only to return back to her home i was so mad lmaooo. I can understand she was worried abt her father and what her family might have to go thru if ppl knew she ran away with a man. I'm just mad that she had so many chances, the ml was also so patient with her but her judgement of his character was so clouded with her already formed image of him based on the rumors she couldnt see the real him and kept confusing her feelings. If only she didnt assume right away what he feels or what he does based on those rumours. It was so hard to watch her keep saying how he must like to spend time flirting with other women while she was mourning his death. I dont know if i can continue watching💀at some point i even thought maybe they rlly arent destined for each other. Id rather see rang eum end up with him at this point.

Dawg, the villain rlly did a good job of pissing me off. I hate him with every fibre of my being, how does he know every move made by every character😭 and i hate how right my intuition is whenever i think someones gonna die or get stabbed. And i missed K in the end wahhh😭

Im on ep 12 and im already irritated how he keeps getting forced by literally everyone around him. Like, he's not a child. Also, the main couple feels so forced imo😭id say the fl and rooftop guy as a couple would be more believable. Any interaction the ceo had with the fl were mostly awkward like trash on his car, the kiss, the oil tissues on face, when she got drunk (damn i was barely able to sit thru it, when she burped inside the car and the ml almost threw up cuz of the smell😂but was hesitant to open windows cuz of fine dust i was like bro, that fine dust would smell better than whatver its smelling inside the car) like, i dont see how he fell for her but ok lets say he did, but the way the fl kept having her way with him and entering his room that time whem he passed out after the kiss rlly annoyed me😭

The last ep was literally a roller coaster of emotions for me, the scene where gamghyun's mom invited him in to eat food and then he started sobbing made me cry ugly😭😭at the same timewhen he came back after handing over the company to mr..choi made me.smile like crazy😭the way everyone was so welcoming to him like he was neevr gone omygod one of the best kdramas ive watched. So sad the actress for lee ganghyun wont be there for mext season. Evem if they stay best friends id totally watch it

It does makes sense now, i dont think i would have checked the interviews cuz i was only focused on ending the series on 1.5x just to know how it ends😂(could have gone higher speed if netflix allowed) I almost lost interest midway through it. Fr i get its a show centred on food but its funny it always solves the problem. I lost it when she fed the maternal grandmother the chocolate to "tell" the truth😂and it magically even worked right when the king was about to lop off the other grandma's head.

Ok maybe im too dumb to understand the plot but people around him constntly asking him like "JOHNA why are you doing this?" Or saying like " JOHNA you shouldnt do this", " JOHNA is crazy", "the JOHNA has lost his mind" or getting shocked whenever he gets angry abt his mother being poisoned by his grandmother pmo so bad. His grandmother literally killed his mother isnt that a valid reaction? it was so ironic when they asked him to be a sage king when theyre the reason for his tyranny. "JOHNA Please have mercy!!!😭🙏🏻!!" Mercy for what? For killing his mother? The grandma was such a double face, one moment shes like "he'd better not know i killed his mother" and another moment shes like "omggg my grandson did the Cheoyongmu dance for me im so proud"
