I like the concept, especially Noey's part. And I love song selection; I love trot songs and nostalgic vibe. Other than that , the show is so boring, too many cliches and draggy.
Very cute drama with lovely characters. I recommend if you wanna break free from anxiety. I rooted equally for all three couples. Just, a bit draggy near the end though that's all
I started watching this series while it was still airing and because I didn't want to wait weeks after weeks, I decided to finish after the airing of final episode. But I was kinda busy and only got the chance to finish now. I think it would be better to binge watch.
Anyway, it's a good series. And if the negative comments and reviews hold you back from watching this series, I think you're missing a good one. Sure, the plot needs development (exactly which bl series don't need that except for 1000 stars?). But I can't agree with the claiming that the acting is bad or they don't have chemistry. Phuwin's acting is pretty decent, both of the leads are good.
And things I like about this series are: 1) Filter or cinematic effect they use for the series 2) Costume and hair design 3) The two leads are so good looking 4) They have chemistry 5) Acting (not weird at all) 6) Phuwin's English skill, such great English accent for a Thai actor 7) Decent plot
Just try watching one or two episodes if you want to know if it's good or not. But don't trust most comments here. It's not just for this particular series, but for almost any other one. Have fun ✌️
Tbh reading the reviews I wasn’t sure to start this but tbh I really liked it~ you could once again see the…
They do that to almost all BLs trust me. They're called 'blamers' and come from blaming society. When something is currently airing (especially if the show looks promising), they just come to post stuff and all. And if someone starts to point out thoroughly how bad it is, then the whole crowd follows; it's like a bandwagon effect. And then, they move on to the next one – to blame. I've noticed that for a while now and I don't even think most of them are true bl fans. BL has become more like a genre now, so many people started to watch since it's entertaining. And they have lots of expectations and all because they don't really know how it was before. I mean, most of the things in BLs are not based off logic. Of course, I for one also want the best of best for BLs. But most of the time, I'm just glad it exists. Don't trust the reviews or negative comments on MDL. Most of the times, it's just nonsense.
Some people are complaining about final episode. I like it though. Their boyfriend things in the last two episodes are so extra and I love it. And I like to see Uea taking care of King and witness then getting comfortable as couple.
I also am glad that I watched the uncut version of this series. It's such a waste to watch this series with restricted version 😁
Here is my review / personal opinion for the series 👇
First of all, I literally didn't expect it to be this good because there are many drama series that I got recommended a lot with promotional videos etcetera on YouTube and other platforms. But most of them turn out to be 'not worth the hype'. On the contrary, I just started watching this series just because I wanted to cross it off my watchlist. Honestly, my expectations were pretty low. But, I got hooked after a few episodes.
Now, let's talk about the two main characters first. This couple has an ORGANIC relationship despite the fact that they started off as FWB. No one here clings to their exes or having no consideration to their partners regardless of their statuses: just BED FRIENDs. It's so obvious that they respect each other. I gotta say that I guessed at least one of the two (at least and most the times, it's both) will mess up their agreement and hurt each other. For an example, King the playboy starting to sleep with other people or maybe forcing on Uea. Or Uea getting back with the a**hole bf or starting to go out or agreeing other people to make King jealous or something. I don't know how old they are in the series but I'm guessing they may be in their early twenties. And I swear most of the guys in bl act like big kids. I mean, it's not rare to see a nearly thirty years old bachelor getting flustered and indecisive in bl stories. Both King and Uea are quite mature for their age. King comes from an almost perfect (rich and not abusive parents) family, so I get it. But with someone like Uea who had encountered series of traumatic experiences and horrible parents, it's surprising that he became such an admirable and ethical human being. The best thing I love about him is how he's so serious in everything. At the start of the series, I thought he'd become an annoying uke and thought I'd like King more but he's so likeable that by any chance if I'm asked to choose I'll probably be team Uea. But really, I like both of them equally.
The story isn't perfect or anything amazing, but it's not a trashy plot at all. Somehow , I feel like it's real life events. And I know that some are complaining about the rated scenes but for me I think it's moderate. But yeah, I think it would be a PERFECT if the editing team didn't mess up too much. Still, I applaud not only the actors but also directors and creators for such entertaining series and making approaches like how mental health is important. I love the little scenes like King giving Uea prescribed meds, how he hired a detective to investigate about the stepfather and many more. Many of their interactions and scenes are done naturally. I'm not saying they'll be "happily ever after". Like all relationships, there will be bumps and they may even be separated one day at one point who knows but, for all I care, they both look pretty happy now and care for each other.
About the acting, this is the first project I've seen of the actors. So, I don't know how's their acting in their other works but here, they done great jobs. I'm a loyal bl fan but I'm one of those people who prefer QUALITY over QUANTITY. And it's a big no no if actors can't act no matter how they can be gorgeous. I would like to thank the casting team for not only having eyes for visuals but also picking people who can act. And I'm guessing people who are complaining about James' acting haven't seen a lot of bls. As an old loyal bl fan, I can vouch his acting is not even among the bad ones in y industry. Trust me on this, I've seen worst of worse 😑
Overall, I say it's a good watch. 10/10 for the chemistry. And I think this is one of the bls that you either enjoy too much or maybe just a little bit but you can't hate this. And finally, I like that it has just the right amount of length: not too long or short.
Same questions aroused to me. But i think it's not exactly 2 years that they lost in touch because in the scene…
Yeah and it always happens in series. I mean, come on you're living in an era where everyone is just one call away. Also, don't they ever have Facebook, Insta, Twitter , or whatsoever!
I've been a hard-core bl fans for years, but I'm more hard-core at dropping anything at a rate faster than 5G internet speed. I just don't like wasting my time. There are more series and drama that I dropped than the ones I finished, and it's not just bl. For me, I don't care how eyecandy the cast can be, I just cannot go on or enjoy if I think it's too messed up or if it causes me much exasperation. For example, I dropped 2gether at episode 2 or 3 (couldn't really remember) while it was still airing and KinnPorsch in the halfway. But I'm amazed there are many people who hate this series but still watching till episode 10 and maybe patiently waiting for the next episodes. I admit this series should have been better. But at the same time I don't think it deserves that much HATE and PATIENCE for people who think it's "seriously bad". Seriously, it doesn't deserve your time and patience for things you don't enjoy. It kinda reminds me of people in bad and toxic relationships. They're not happy but at the same time they can't seem to end.
This show is amazing. Everyone else in this comment section has lost it and has decided to make this show the…
IKR seriously everyone's starting to expect everything of THIS drama. Seriously though remind me again, since when do people start caring about perfection in BL?! I mean, if it's not their taste don't watch. That's it. For me, I don't like The Eclipse at all, i can't even go on to second episode but that's it. And i also can't finish KinnPorsch, thus i dropped. But there are people who like them and i get it. I normally wouldn't go and make a lot of complaints about BL series.
is this drama better to be watched while airing or to be binge watched?
Yeah, I often have that question. But I almost always prefer to wait till the airing time is over 'cause I'm not someone who remember what they ate for dinner last night lol
People said "watch it, it's very funny, stress relief, you won't stop laughing", why do I even bother? I'm even…
This drama is all about exaggeration and mockery. Most of the things don't even make sense and they don't have to because the primary purpose of this drama is not to bring tearjerkers or big issues. And people watch sitcoms not because it's realistic but for great laugh. For me, I find Mo Hae Young character annoying but it didn't stop me from enjoying the drama and at the same time it doesn't mean I support polyamory. Work abuse is shown in many drama and movies but the point of this series is not to solve the problems or anything. And my favorite character here is MaTan but in reality I think rich people are obnoxious. This is just a satirical piece; but it you don't get the point, can't help it. But don't assume people enjoy this are in favor of bullying. That's so trivial.
Anyway, it's a good series. And if the negative comments and reviews hold you back from watching this series, I think you're missing a good one.
