Take my money and release all episodes now! This wait is killing me. This has become one of my favorite kdrama so far although I can't help feeling we are going to have a SE.

Just finished ep1 and so far not disappointed like I was with RMP. RMP could've been so much better. Even the fight scenes in here, although not the best, was still better than RMP. I hope FL isn't same wooden faced throughout the drama like FL in RMP was.

I am loving Dong Fang Qin Lan and can totally see the resemblance in characters between her and DFYC in RMP! Too cute!

I was not disappointed in the ending. Like you said, the story was going that way already. I'm just glad they're all alive. Banxia isn't the same banxia in her first life. She got to do everything she wanted to, she only didn't have him anymore. I was okay with her not going with him. She spent her life not knowing him and only seeing his back in dreams. Even though she regained her memories she still wasn't the exact same person with the same experience so I didn't see it logical for her to follow him. He had his own obligations also. So I'm satisfied with the ending. I'll still be satisfied if they were together also.

Okay watch if you're bored. Dropping it at ep10. Will try to pick it back up later if I'm extremely bored. FL is beautiful but I'm not feeling it for the ML. He's a little stiff and I can't take his serious face seriously. I'm not getting ML vibes from him.

I started Cdramas with the minis so I've watched quite a few before moving onto full length. 😄 Your trends for minis are spot on! One of my favorite mini is Ancient Love Song. I felt it was well written and executed. I just recently went back to some minis to fill in gaps between full length dramas and am trying to get my brain back to mini mode😆

Right??? The entire show, he was doing everything for her while she did nothing for him. It felt like a one way relationship. She said she love him at the end but how? She basically took the everything from him. I get they want women empowerment, but the FL came off selfish at the end. She continues to live under the princess's identity then took away ML's status/role/power. Makes no sense that he would give up a whole country and himself for her and just let her rule it because he loves her. Talk about major simp syndrome! He could've took the throne and still changed the country to better women, but nope, he became a "dead" man who has no other ambitions than to follow her around.

And don't forget, she's still his MOTHER. She came back as consort Wei and took the throne as consort Wei.

Lol I think I need a break from these mini dramas. There's only been a couple mini dramas that I thought were well written executed and this is not it!

Yep I knew what he would pick too. I know it's a short drama and I shouldn't put much thoughts into it but it won't ever make any sense to me at this point.

The last few eps were a complete mess. That ending made no sense. I can't believe I paid that much for an express package of a short drama to only be given that ending. Now that I think of it, I don't like FL anymore. She came from nothing, had a man who would die for her and she takes everything away from him and he's totally okay with it as long as he can be with her....and for what reason? Shes done nothing for him. And why did his mom who hated FL all of a sudden wanted FL to rule instead of her son? It's one of those, let's make it about the oppression of women and women being in power but let's make it in one of the worst way possible.

Good short drama. Watched for ML. Visuals and cinematography was great for a short drama. Didn't quite get why he had to fake his death. Was that so she can rule instead of him? Didn't quite like that since ML was different from other male characters. But again, it's a short drama and I keep having to remind myself not to think too much when it comes to these.

Also, I know it's not a big deal but FL looked like she was drowning in her outfits.

Automated subs are horrible!!! But overall, not a bad watch. Enjoyable for a quick watch to kill a couple hours! I appreciate that the FL does not act like or look like a child.

Sadly, dropped. Enjoyed first few eps but FL is underwhelming.

The step mother and step sister irks to me to end!!! Besides them, I loved the drama. FL that can stand on her own and don't let anyone bully her is so refreshing.

Pretty good so far. My only complaint is too much repetitive flashbacks. Showing the same flashback multiple times and each time adding more to it felt like it took up too much screen time.

Such a good short drama. I wish it was made into full length. Loved both main leads.

Started this and it's good so far besides the naive FL but just now read ending spoiler and sadly, will be dropping. I thought the ending will go a different route.

I really enjoyed this and have watched a couple times while waiting for other currently airing dramas. I just skip through the fake DZY scenes. They gave her too much screen time! Also, I love GJ and am now a fan of DRB.
