Binged all 4 episodes and I am pleasantly surprised that I'm loving it. Pacing and stories has all been good. I'm loving the banter between the main leads and how the judges get along so well. I love GJ but now RM is also growing on me. I didn't care much for her in her other dramas but she's doing a great job here. I'm seated for this one!!
I agree with all points. The overall cinematography, look and feel of the drama felt off for me. It looked like I was watching a play instead of a drama on screen. The camera and editing felt cheap. I can tell most times they're in an enclosed room when it's supposed to be outside. Then the worst was the cringe slow motion shots of the ML that's supposed to be hot? I was feeling a generic wannabe version of Duke Su from The Double. Okay, ML is one good looking man, but whoever edited those shots should be fired.
Also I didn't feel the chemistry or build up of a relationship between the leads. FL looked the same through out. Eventually I just didn't care anymore about the plot because that was also a mess. Overall disappointing.
I regret not checking the director before starting this series. None of his previous works have impressed me so…
This is one of the main reasons why I dropped. I tried hoping it will get better but it doesn't. There are times it looked like they filmed using a phone camera. The cinematography and aesthetics are just not doing it for me. Was hoping at least the plot and actors would save it but unfortunately I couldn't continue which was a bummer because I was looking forward to this.
I hope this gets better, on ep 5 rn and itโs so boring I had to take a few breaks. So far kinda disappointed…
Ugh I feel the same. I will still continue watching but something feels off. The pacing, editing and acting for some of the actors aren't doing it. This was one of my most anticipated drama.
Ok, how does Li Shuangโs blood end up in Ao Dungโs mouth? He was in the middle of a forest and all of a sudden…
I just started and am so confused with this part too. He was alone and then they fought on top of him and he's covered in leaves. Then he became a child? I hope it's explained later on.
My mind was blown!!!!! The whole time I was thinking it was the little crown prince we saw in the beginning!
They did great because it kept me guessing the whole time. For a second when CEO Dan told WanYin that the sos flowers weren't needed anymore, I thought he knew something but I never thought it was his flowers.
Also I didn't feel the chemistry or build up of a relationship between the leads. FL looked the same through out. Eventually I just didn't care anymore about the plot because that was also a mess. Overall disappointing.
