I honestly assumed that Duk Seon would end up with Taek but that didn't stop me from crying bitter tears for Jung Hwan. It might be that Taek was meant to be the husband from the start but the writers had written Jung Hwan's character so well that everyone fell for him. They pretty much led us on to believe he was the lead. But that said, the entire point of this drama is to keep us guessing and they did a really good job of that.
Anyway this season was mostly about all the families and in that respect this show was amazing!
I was expecting nothing from this drama and since I haven't even read the webtoon, I wasn't particularly interested. However, this has been a pleasant suprise. Really liking the pace and the characters.
I like Yoo Jung because he's played by Park Hae Jin but I like Baek In Ho because of his character. Honestly Yoo Jung has all the traits of a sociopath and if I met someone like that in real life (no matter how hot he was) I would be running in the opposite direction. I'm basically shipping Seol with Baek In Ho but I guess that's probably a sinking ship.
When I decided to watch the first two episodes it was solely because of my affection for the previous reply dramas. I wasn't really into the time period nor the cast especially Hyeri. However after watching it I realized that what made the Reply series amazing was the writers and the amazing director. It didn't really matter who the actors were cause the story and the direction made the characters come to life. Just watching the first two episodes made me connect to the lives of these people.
I'm not crier but I ended up shedding tears during both the episodes and once because of Hyeri's acting. It also made me laugh. So basically I'm pretty much hooked again to this series, just wish each episode wasn't so long :P

I agree that his parenting was not the best but it wasn't the worst either. His absense really hurt is son but honestly i think we usually forget that parents are people too and they can be immature as well. It's not like he abandoned his son or beat the crap out of him. He just didn't know how to be a good single parent. Also it's not like his father lived a very happy life that he needs to sacrifice the woman who makes him happy and a better person in the process. Just like how Yeon Doo made Yeol open up, her mom taught his dad how to be a good parent.
It would be selfish for either of them to ask the other to break up so thankfully we have a happy ending for them both :)

Realistically speaking the parents have a greater chance of working out in the long run than their kids.

Kwon So Ah better not get redemption for all that she's done. She needs to be punished for what she's done. Everyone is constantly pressured in life but dealing with it themself without harming others. I mean what message would that send to other bullies. It doesn't matter what you do as long you act remorseful after that. SMH
I don't know much about the actor since I've seen only one drama of his but I came across an article which said that he dated a flight attendant for 5 years and then broke up with her this year because he didn't have time for her since he started getting more dramas.
I just find it ironic that the story is so similar to his life :P .. but he chose his dreams over love.
