How bad is the love triangle? Will I get Second Lead Syndrome?Happy ending?Side Couples? How much screentime does…
you will absolutely not get 2nd lead syndrome. There are side couples, but story focuses more on main couple. Moon Bin's screentime is short, but he gets time to shine!
This is such a sensitive piece on teenagehood. It's a calm, slow paced story with very realistic portrayals of real life problems teenagers experience all over the world. Characters felt suprisingly human - kudos to the cast and writers for that - and reminded me of my own highschool days, when me and my friends would fight and makeup the next day like nothing had happened. The script also touches on socioeconomic topics I did not expect, which is a good surprise. I might be biased but Hyanggi's performances never fail to awe me, and she's so so good in here. A 9/10 for me!
It's not bad, but it feels a little empty... I wish they showed a bit more of backstory regarding bbangmi and dr. byeon 😭 it feels like a waste of their characters and (amazing) actors
I’ve been feeling a similar way. This drama is inconsistent for me. I love watching the leads but the rest doesn’t…
Yes! It's in no way a bad drama, but it feels like the writers had a very solid idea in mind (the body-swap romance) and didn't know what to do with the side characters, so many points feel out of place, boring or straight up ridiculous. Half of it is actually interesting, the other half is a snooze fest.
i'm on ep 9 and still unsure if i like this or not... FL and ML are great, their story is delightful to watch, but everything else feels so ???? the prince x councilor's daughter sideplot is a pain to watch, the villain feels very out of place and don't even get me started on that dinosaur looking cgi bird. does it get better after this? i really wanna like it bcs i love sejeong 😭
So coming back here after a couple of days. I've just finished episode 14...ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND I can now fully…
I thought that would be the case lol, but I still like her. I see her as an idiot-with-a-reason ,and her being manipulated by her uncle seemed realistic enough. Back when I was watching it, I saw some tweets saying her character suffered radical changes between the time the actors accepted the script and the date they actually started shooting - which would explain A LOT, especially how rushed the last episodes felt, but don't quote me on this.
Romance-wise, I think it was cute. They had that angsty-sweet storyline that I'm a fan of, but I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. Jae Ha seems to have a thing for women in terrible life-risking situations, so at least that was consistent. While him falling in love with Anna felt out of the blue, a ton of things were also shoved in the plot purely for convenience, so I'm not too mad about it.
Same here. Didn't watch it for years for exactly the same reasons.I'm on episode 5 though and I think lots of…
The first episodes focus more on setting the tone and establishing background more than anything else. Anna's character gets more importance after ep 6/7, but not in the way many people were expecting (ie the bad*ss, dgaf FL we usually see in revenge stories), which is why I believe there was so much disappointment with the plot. I have some problems with the final chapters but everything is fairly well written and coherent, given what was promised.
Started watching this after many years of putting it aside thanks to of all the bad comments towards the FL and now I'm starting to think some of you hate Anna just to hate. She is a perfectly believable portrayal of a young woman who has been abused and neglected throughout her whole life. But the SFL and ML do have a lot of chem going on, it's kind of a wasted potential to not have them cast in another project lol
i'm on the first ep and i get the comments now. this season's comedy feels forced and over the top. it's like the director and writer just told Kim Namgil to act crazy and scream on camera while Kim Sungkyun makes some exaggerated expressions on the background. It almost annihilates Father Kim's (great) character arc, and that is hard to do. i hope it gets better from ep 2 onwards! i miss the old crew but i keep looking forward to Sung Joon's acting!!! his character's edits on tiktoo got me hooked lol
cha kangjae is such a spoiled douchebag i'm starting to hope he gets scammed/mistreated/publicly humiliated by the director's family so he is forced to start acting like a decent human being... i wish i could pity his dad but he's the one who raised his adored doctor son this way, so 🤷♀️
