I do like both costume fantasy and historical; I used to watch K-dramas, not C-dramas. I personally would appreciate a good one with a fantasy element more, cos it’s hard to find. But my friends said, Chinese’s made better costume fantasy romance dramas at present. I like mature/strong female character as I remember ages ago, not many costume dramas that have a strong female. From your explanation and the synopsis, it seems that LITC and LLTG are different genres, LITC is Xianxia, and LLTG is pure historical/wuxia?

Yes, I recently fond of Lu Yuxiao. Love in the Clouds is my best costume I’ll watch. Tbh, Love like the Galaxy was actually on my plan to watch list even before LITC, but I bit hesitate now as I just dropped Hidden Love. Both dramas have the same FL? Plus, I couldn't relate to the story, and ML mostly for Hidden Love. Will the story in LLTG any better?

That was my same question. She seemed rather a down-to-earth person and a very good actress.

I’ve started to appreciate this actress in Love between Lines. I’ve had a K-drama withdrawal. Tbh, I began to enjoy watching C-drama because of LBL, but why suddenly many people in mainland China attacked her?? To me, she seems a really good actress with effortless acting, a lovely face, and a gentle demeanour. And her smile is something. I am kinda resent this type of slander that has been in the C-ent industry, why never change tho. Can these horrible people just leave this lovely lady alone, please? Because I really want to enjoy watching her dramas, and I need Dancing with the Tide to air! 🤞

LITC is on my plan to watch list already! I really like the female in Love Between Lines. Something about her has made me enjoy watching C-drama over the K-Drama atm.

I hesitated to put BIA in my list because LYX was only supporting role. As the high rating and many said it’s so good, I’ve put in on my plant to watch list including the Fated Heart. Cheers!

Ah ic! It must be a really good plot then, as medical drama can be boring sometimes.

I hope I’ll get there also, as I heard that the costume C-drama has improved tremendously at present! More good-looking face also there, I suppose!

I may try Love Me, Love My Voice as I saw that the ML is the one in Dancing with the Tide, which recently made a big wave with the lawsuit thing, but from the footage bts in X, it seemed like an S+ drama. He looked great and seemed like a good actor. Not familiar with the FL, but I’ll look her up. I hope she’s as good as the FL in LBL 🤞

For modern Drama, I prefer relatable romances with great cast and acting, like LBL perhaps, or ones that have interesting characters like K-drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Park Eun Bin is my favorite actress atm.

As the tittle about ‘coroner’, would there be lots of good fighting scenes?

I think I have put it in my plan to watch list already as its high rating also and the female I think the one in LBL. So, it’ll be interesting to see her in different character. She seemed great and plus has softer Korean beauty feature on her. I will try to watch them both after LBL. As I have been let down by the existing Kdramas. Not many good ones and the great actors/actresses getting old! Which modern C-Drama you most recommended among those 4?

Fated Heart seemed to be closer to my liking. Strong, beautiful female. Though I may also want to try something with C-costume fantasy drama like Alchemy to the Soul, K drama, which is a fantasy costume that I liked.

Tbh, I am trying to find a C-costume-drama I can enjoy watching as I’ve just dropped 4 costume dramas, The Untamed, Nirvana in Fire, Pursuing of Jade, and Prisoner of Beauty. The first, cinematography, and story and done acting were not great; the second, story was too heavy; third was overrated for the story and acting, ML was pretty but not manly enough as marquis and FL character was too unrealistic for non-fantasy genre drama; last was not really keen with ML which again not manly enough to be a strong general. Put some dramas in my plan to watch list , but still sceptical to start any yet.

I just started watching C-dramas, but I have given up watching some costume C-dramas; sadly, I could not find the joy in watching them yet. I just want a beautiful drama to enjoy, and then I found this one. I love it, I smile a lot! An ordinary yet wonderful life story we can relate to with stunning cinematography. The female is very pleasingly beautiful, with a sophisticated aura that I somehow found in the finest Korean beautiful actress, and the male has a handsome masculine look and figure, different from most C-actors in C-drama who mostly are less attractive tall skinny pretty face men. Acting was outstanding and great kissing scenes, all feel natural, not overacted or cringeworthy. So, first C-drama which I may stick around till the end!
