Finished this a couple of days ago and wanted to share my take - but I had to sit with it for a bit - not because…
I’m on episode 36, and I’m going to drop it. I lost interest in both the romance and the story. They didn’t develop the supporting characters; there were so many characters I wanted to know more about, but they focused too much on the ML and FL, with a romance full of tiring and repetitive breakup-and-reconciliation scenes. I simply decided I didn’t want them to end up together. Yes, so many of the FL’s triumphant entrances were unnecessary; it even made me start noticing that they were repeating outfits, lol. As for the ML, what was the point of Shun Xi in the story? To have emotional dependence on the FL? Did he only exist so Si Mu could regain his 5 senses, fall in love, and then become her weakness? I feel so bad for that man. About the sword, I was desperately waiting for him to unsheathe it, kill some spirits, and show the potential everyone kept talking about, but Shun Xi only used it in the few battles I saw, and the rest of the time he just kept holding it. So frustrating! But the worst part of all was watching my boy Xue Chen Ying die. That hurt so much; I cried my eyes out.
I agree, Dilraba Dilmurat is incredible in this drama. My dream is to see her play a villain someday.
I loved it! It’s not one of the best c-dramas—the political conflicts were weak; however, the relationship between the ML and FL, such as their chemistry, the maturity in their dialogues, and the development of both, was what made me keep watching.
The FL is an independent woman who thinks ahead of her time, in an era when women are submissive and dependent on their husbands.
The ML made mistakes at the beginning, accepted that he was wrong, and acknowledged that Mian Tang could live without him—but Xing Zhou cannot live without Mian Tang.
Mian Tang and Xing Zhou, a couple whose foundation of love is companionship😍
Yes, I agree! It's the boring and dull version of Marry My Husband, I had to drop it. The couple just doesn't develop the romance and has no chemistry. At first, I was super interested because it involved time travel (I love that), but it seemed like the story wasn't moving forward, always the same conversation about ML and FL not being able to be together until the day her friend and her boyfriend got together. Seeing scenes of her being submissive in order to deceive her jerk boyfriend disgusted me. And to top it off, ML's fiancée shows up, and that's when it became tiresome to watch.
I liked it, very cute couple! A very cliché short drama, I loved FL's personality, the web series was well produced and ML cares about FL. It's a very simple story, but it's enjoyable to watch because the couple have chemistry I was sad that there were few scenes of romance, I would have liked to have seen more.
My motivation for continuing to watch this lakorn was to find out how FL and ML got married and the beauty of Mik Thongraya.
About the protagonists
FL is very childish, spoiled and stubborn. At first, her personality didn't bother me, but as the stories went on, it seemed that her character never changed, always the same lines, shameful situations and actions of rejection towards her husband, she spent almost the entire lakorn without any sign of maturing, which made the story tiresome. The situation was so simple to resolve, she should have told her husband that she didn't remember him or that she had lost her memory of the three years they had been married.
ML is handsome, gentlemanly, companionable and loving, a do-it-all for FL, I wonder what he saw in Diew. The only downside is that Aoey is too complacent with all her idiocy, there were situations that FL created that even I was embarrassed to watch, she embarrassed her husband in the middle of people, it made me want to skip those scenes.
The scriptwriter has no love for the viewer, the couple has a lot of chemistry, but they didn't know how to take advantage of it, most of the lakorn the wife rejected her husband, Diew didn't even want to meet Aoey, there's no decent kiss and after FL fell in love with ML for real there was less than 20 minutes of romance, sad!
FL suffered everything she could, with no support in life, with two “families” who sold her out and a friend who forced her into marriage, married she thought she would be loved, but her trashy husband mistreated FL for liking another man, destroying her psyche. Lan Shan suffers so much that at the beginning it's clear to see that she's blocking her feelings so that she doesn't have to suffer any more, she doesn't smile!😭
ML is a mystery to me, at the beginning he seemed super cold, obsessive, controlling, he mistreated his wife psychologically, and had disgusting ideas and actions to get FL's attention, but in some scenes it seemed that the perverse Sheng Shi was a character and the real one was the loving one. For me, his old attitudes didn't make sense with his current personality.
The scriptwriter is garbage, he should have made Sheng Shi lovable from the start, a ML who does everything for his wife and tries to win her love, so Lan Shan wouldn't have suffered, and she would fall in love with him little by little, a romance that makes sense.
At the beginning, FL and ML's relationship is very heavy, they've been married for 2 years with a very toxic relationship, there's abuse, psychological violence and various disagreements. The good thing is that these scenes are shown in short flashbacks, so pretend you have amnesia and keep watching.
But leaving aside their dark past, my positive points are that the couple have chemistry, they're cute, they know how to kiss, they've resolved all their disagreements, Lan Shan is the one who fights with ML and I could see FL's happy smile.☺️
I love Bin Bin, but unfortunately I'll have to drop it. The first part, the drama was interesting and unpredictable. I loved seeing Mu Xuan Ling doing everything she could to make Xie Xue Chen love her and that little by little Xue Chen's heart of ice was melting in love with her. The second half is so boring, Zhao Ming's story has become so dragged out, I'd rather see more episodes with Bin Bin as a demon (he looked so handsome🥰).
Yes! That's why I love him. He gives me the feeling of being a happy and kind person🥰 I've been following his career since School 2015, the unforgettable friend zone which I don't accept🤭
Amazing K-drama! I love medical kdrama and it's been a long time since I've seen one that shows that adrenaline rush inside a hospital. Over the years, I've realized that medical kdrama have become boring, with too many dialogues, too few scenes of surgery and, above all, a lack of adrenaline that captures the viewer. For me, the thrill of saving lives and seeing the evolution of medical professionals is gratifying.
Wait… what happened at the end? I’m not sure what’s going on with me these days—I just can’t handle…
I can't see blood either, it took me 15 days to watch the last episode. I decided to finish it out of curiosity, but now I have a severe headache and I'm outraged that I don't understand the ending🥲
oh yeah go for it , if u r not good with blood or violence than dont, if u r ok with it, its a must watch .
I'm that kind of person and unfortunately your excellent comment wasn't here to warn me😅 It took me 15 days to watch the last episode because of the blood. I can't even rate it, it wasn't good and it wasn't bad.
I love it! Wonderful acting, a very sweet romance and incredible chemistry. It's not one of the best c-dramas, but it's good to watch, over the course of the episodes you fall in love with the couple and the story becomes engaging.
I would have liked another short episode showing Xiao Ru and Yan Sui's romance in the real world.
I'm liking the drama, but... I understand Nin lied a bit, but he had so much more trust in Chom. However Chom…
I agree with you! I was so angry about this episode that I ended up drooping myself. In the preview I saw that there's going to be another jealousy situation, and that shows that Chom doesn't trust Nin.
In my opinion, Chom is a pointless character in the story.
I was enjoying this, but I had to let it drop, ml and fl's chemistry is very weak, fl's attitudes towards her mother who humiliated her husband were absurd. Chom simply agreed with or defended the shit that her mother did and asked for, but to defend Nin she didn't speak up. I believed that Chom's attitudes would improve as the episodes progressed, but I'm still the same annoyance.
My expectation was that Chom and Nin would be partners to make the mother understand that Chom loves Nin, but the poor guy is fighting alone, he doesn't need to disrespect the mother but show that fl has a husband, with companionship and being super sweet which the mother would surely hate hahaha
I found a romantic cliché! I've been wanting to see a cliché for a while, I looked in all languages, but I couldn't find one I liked, so I decided to look for Lakorn with ratings below 7.9 and I simply found this gem. A very cute lakorn with a spectacular chemistry. I wish it had more details, for example, the wedding party, it was very simple and quick, but the chemistry filled in what was missing.

Estava pensado em assistir, mas a avaliação e os comentários me desanimaram.

Has anyone seen his high school photos? I know he was super cute as a kid.
