The drama so far should we get another season has an open ending, like in the novel if you exclude the side stories, so I don't know. In the novel (&webtoon), the whole France plot doesn't exist (Sangwoo takes no French language class, but Chinese.) Jaeyoung applied for a firm in America, not France.

In the original source material, the novel in the side stories, Sangwoo and Jaeyoung, get engaged and are preparing for their marriage. So yes, they have a happy ending; I don't think they would change that.

Yeah, season two is absolutely necessary.😌 The chemistry is out of this world. Should they green light it, I seriously hope they'll cover the whole proposal and marriage plot (& jaeyoungs twin!!!) from the novel. I guess the webtoon, at this point, will have covered this part of the story.
