Netflix really went all out for Jisoo's first Netflix drama. The casts... the budget must be huge. Also, Seo Inguk said it will come out in February so 1st teaser will likely come out in the beginning of January.

Newtopia is different from typical zombie projects though, she shows her versatility and it's a + pt in her filmography.

Yes of course. ep 1-2 is the build up, ep 2-5 is where more actions taking in while ep 6-8 is where the story takes into another level of extreme and leading up to final scene. It's worth to binge in one go.

Just read an article from Korean media that Newtopia's success and buzz might give a green light for a Season 2. It's also still #1 on Coupang Play and on top 10 in Amazon Prime worldwide. FINGERS CROSSED.

torn between giving this a 8.5 or a 9.0, it's a solid watch, served what it promised (zombie, comedy and romance) and highly rewatchable - there are many drama series that I super like but it's hard to rewatch it due to certain reasons but with Newtopia every episode is fun and has its own charms. Ep 6 & 7 are the PEAK though, Young-joo is the main boss in those episodes.

Young-joo and Soojung being the two of the strongest characters in the drama 👏🏻
