It started off very strong and genuine but the storytelling has become real mess. It's hard to believe this show is from the same people created The Worst of Evil.

Again, I don't judge copying others, but if you claim it as yours after copying from others (which chinese people seem to do that quite often), that's wrong and should be judged.

That's because chinese dramas have been copying all the formulas from kdramas for decades. Not judging the act, but claiming the originality should be judged.

China has been promoting their contents through korean contents subtly and not so subtly. Check out any community relating to kpop, kdrama, webtoon, etc, there are always people suggesting chinese contents out of nowhere. Most obvious ones are those youtube videos promoting korean movies. The thumbnails of those videos stuffed with korean movies, and then squeeze some chinese movies in there. lol
