I've watched 3 episodes so far and I just have to say I hate how suicidal people are treated by others in kdramas.…
because after a certain point, comfort doesn't work. it doesn't reach them. sometimes they need someone to remind them; even if harshly. i think this drama does a better job at it. yeah they're being assertive but the things theyre saying aren't like... making them feel guilty. which is what most kdramas andppl irl do "imagine how ___ would feel" like that's a terrible way to help someone
Overall I like this drama. The only minor complaints I have is the pacing, too much focus on the Yongzhou state,…
exactly. but i don't think it's meant to be a wuxia, rather just have the wuxia elements. but i agree i prefer hearing abt heibai fengxi way more than all this prince this king that
very very slightly to say between Ai and Na Il Deung
not exactly. at least the ending doesn't really show them together in the future so we never really know. when they fastforward at the end we only see yoon ahyi
this show is very well rounded. the story is rich with details and suspense, keeping us hooked into both the Wu…
another thing i've often seen with popular wuxia/xianxia dramas is lots of confusion amongst fans. but they've done a really good job of making the plot easier to understand while retaining rich details
this show is very well rounded. the story is rich with details and suspense, keeping us hooked into both the Wu Xia world as well as the Empire world. not only is the story amazing (i know it's based on an older novel), but the production itself is great. the cast is abundant with both talent and good looks! not a single flaw. one issue i've found with many costume dramas is that the story will be complicated and interesting, yet the production feels cheap/tacky. but this drama is great. they do a great job. i guess the stunts for some of the fighting needs work but luckily those kinds of scenes aren't frequent. yang yang and zhao lusi have done amazing jobs.
i liked this show originally but now they've done too much. chunhui making her daughter falsely accuse another CHILD of molesting kids??? JESUS. this show is taking a turn for the worst. also the whole jinha thing doesn't make any sense. but it is still entertaining cuz i obviously want to see how it ends. i hope we get clarification on louis and eunpyo like why things ended for them like that too cuz even though louis obviously has issues they had a cute relationship in france
This drama isn't a wuxia lol. Those martial arts sequences are not it, but I get what you mean by enjoying the…
yeahh ur right probably. idk i like the fact that the leads are both suuuper powerful and like even if the fighting sequences aren't too great in this show it's still cool LMFAO
i like it too it's just too predictable for me and at least if it's predictable i'd prefer it to be like fighting element stuff idk ig i just find that more entertaining
