rewatched this again as it's a classic kdrama and the messy plot was actually fun to watchi don't understand why…
same here, I didn't liked the ending for HJJ. He should have done scorched earth revenge, burned down all the hospitals and bring him on the road and then see if he still goes on his knees or not. Whatever he did, his son came out and no other effect was shown on the hospital. For once in a drama, I would like to see revenge given priority over love.
Honestly, the main couple ruined this for me. The plot bent over backward to make them look perfect and always in the right, even forcing JJY to agree with them by the end. SHS was arrogant and totally threw JJY under the bus. I wish the writer had given the other characters some actual good moments instead of just making it a one-sided show where the leads can do no wrong.
I don’t know why, but I just couldn't feel any chemistry between the main leads. Strangely, even with the same age gap, the second leads were way more convincing and rootable! It got to a point where I had to skip the main couple's scenes because they felt too cringey.
So, FL says that go ahead and marry her its fine by me and sml is supposed to beg her and stop her. This is like toxic relationship. This is like writer did not know how to break them up then lets just show that FL wanted SML to read her mind and understand her but couldn't and ML and Charles Xavier from X-men can.
