I noticed it immediately, I wouldn't say it was a spoiler... I've mentioned similar about other dramas having the same leads or whatever with another drama, how can that be a spoiler? I'm not being mean, just being curious, I was going to mention the very same thing until I'd seen her comment...
I'm continuing to watch this for them, but to watch Joy act, just a real sweetheart of a girl, she's very pure,…
She's acting in The Great Seducer, looking forward to see her act as well in that one, but you said she's not as good, no worries, I'll look for Radio Romance on Netflix or Drama Fever, or I'll just download it as I usually do... I don't, or normally don't criticize someone for their acting, but I can get pretty harsh on the writers, and/or characters, now, there are actors/actresses I just can't stand to watch, I don't like dirty characters, and to me, in my most humble opinion, it changes my perspective of the actor/actress by the character they play, can't judge a book by it's cover they say, but when you see the same person playing the same nasty role all the time, it really gets to you, hence, seeing Joy, and reading the comment above by Arihant that she's a raw actress, it was a breath of fresh air to see her act.
okay does this drama have love triangle in it...im really sick of the love triangle concept..i dont mind the spoiler..pls…
@Avina, I so agree with you, never liked them from the beginning, and loathe them so much more now that I've seen over 300 drama's, Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese, but I must say, stay away from Taiwanese if you don't want triangles, pretty much guaranteed to get even more despicable triangles, it's like they're hyena's there, they seem to thrive on triangles there....
Was Joy good in this story? She was the only redeeming point to The Liar and His Lover for me to even finish it.
I will do so, I loathe triangles, but she's such a breath of fresh air to watch, at least in The Liar and His Lover, looking forward to seeing more of her.... :)
Worst 2017 drama !Don’t waste your time on this !I got tired of Shiny Boy and the other song !No chemestry between…
Haha, for the most part I so agree with you here, only thing was Shiny Boy, it just didn't do it I found, yes for a fun song, but as Yoo Na said, songs eventually die, need new ones, there are some songs that stick around, and can find most online somewhere, but I so agree there as well... As for the chemistry, I so wholeheartedly agree. I found there was a wall between them the whole time, made by him, and understandably so, he was never properly learned on mannerism, whereas I found her mannerism to be very good, the Asian women, who still practice what they were taught in mannerism put they're hands over their mouths when they laugh, more prevalent in Japan than Korea, but I have seen not just Joy, but a few Korean actresses doing it. I like it because it is very elegant and lady looking. I think if he as an actor had opened up a lil, there may have been, even their kissing wasn't good. I just found him holding back compared with others I've seen him in. There was even less chemistry between him and his ex, I was scratching my head over that one... O_o
Was I the only one who continued this just cuz of Shi Hyun and Soo Yeon couple? I thought they were realy cute.…
I'm continuing to watch this for them, but to watch Joy act, just a real sweetheart of a girl, she's very pure, a lil naive, kind, and was just what our main needed to get him to empathize more instead of looking at self a lot of times. I did think their storyline, SH and SY, and agree with you, to watch them because of the misunderstanding, I'm loving watching her gaze at him whenever he's playing, she's so into him, and visa versa... Very satisfying...
As for the comment below concerning Joy, I'm quite looking forward to watching her act, a breath of fresh air to see an actress that was so refreshing to watch. In my most humble opinion, Joy was the only thing that kept me watching till the end, her crying wasn't, or at least didn't sound, fake, had such a beautiful and pretty smile, you could see she was having fun. Because of the writer bringing in not just trashy selfish obsessive triangles, and also adding betrayal to the storyline, and the evil wicked female schoolmate, I could only give this a 1, Joy was the only reason I completed this whatever you call it.
Too bad they had to kill Seung Woo's ex fiance, Jung Yeon Joo in the last episode, it was clear they were pursuing that storyline, too bad. I wouldn't have liked to see them get back together, but at least let her live for his brother's sake, otherwise great series thus far. O_o
I don't see it at all yet where he's the bad one, I'll keep watching so I can see where he's in the wrong. O_o…
I agree with you that he is immature, I had to laugh at your description of him, a puppy dog, I thought the exact same thing, I was picturing him with long loopy ears, tongue panting with his hands and arms in a dog's begging style, quite a comical look in my thoughts. I'm just starting the 12th episode, I find he's over the top desperate, but I saw terrible in her in the 1st episode. To be honest I've never seen her play a good part, she as an actress has always been the b*tch in any dramas I've seen her in, so I'm not surprised. Another thing about him, in the earlier episodes he did scream alot, but I might have done the same where it came to his mom, I can understand because of her special needs(mental handicap), and allergies, he has a bad temper, but my goodness, is it just in the dramas, or are Korean mothers violent like that? My mother stopped slapping me when I did wrong when I was 12 or something, so violent. He is a very good actor in everything he is in, The K2 was really, really good.
At the start of drama lead guy is total jerk and very unlikable character. He does not want his mother to get…
I don't see it at all yet where he's the bad one, I'll keep watching so I can see where he's in the wrong. O_o Thus far I'm not in agreement, yet, but I see it the other way around, it seems her being super selfish, you never ever use the sentence she used unless she was super selfish, if you love me you'd do it, so selfish, she didn't love him, or she would have set one day aside to meet him at the airport after how long of not seeing him, instead of her friend, then from there her supposed career took a spiralling nose dive because of her selfishness and pride. I was married to someone just like her, played me like a fiddle, I'm watching this only to see her fall apart, and keep hitting rock bottom, no excuse for her actions just in the 1st 5 episodes. As to his mom wanting closure, if you grew up believing your parent abandoned you, I know I wouldn't be overly anxious to try to find them. Just my opinion.
thanks! i was worried that this one too would follow that 'certain trend' and so my reluctance to start…
She's been good in Iris thus far, haven't gotten to this one yet, got sidetracked with Bachelor's Vegetable Store, but will watch this one after I finish Iris.
