I so don't like Aragaki Yui with short hair, she is so much more beautiful and gorgeous, and pretty with long hair, I so wanna cry seeing her like this... And Sakai Masato is so obnoxious and arrogant as always... Oh well, on with the show... :'(((

I loved everything surrounding and involving the kids, all of them, and I would so love to have the relationship of either or both of Jiro's and/or Kanzaki's relationships with each and every one of them kids, just awesome connection and chemistry. Can't say I know what that romance was, can you call it that??? Talk about mismatch and in the worst way, I gave it a 9 because of so many lessons to be learned in this one, especially regarding children, so very well beautifully done... :)))

Torii Motoichiro san needs to shut the frig up, wow, he's so friggin obnoxious!!! Whatever Sakai Masato san plays in, he's always so obnoxious and so looks down on everyone, he so thinks he's God's gift to everyone, he needs to tone the frig down, so friggin annoying...

One thing that was very disappointing is how until the end she never clearly let go of SY. So it's hard to understand…
LOL, hehe, that's why I'm leaving this one alone, so glad there were spoilers, dunno why writers are so obsessed with this kind of trash, sopathetically ludicrous. Oh well. Thanks. :)))

Title For Love or Money Spoiler
I really loved the romance in this one but could only give it an 8, mostly for the betrayal, but as well for the dog awful mother, I was so glad to see it dealt with properly by him pretty much disowning his mother the way he did. Xing Lu can thank her lucky starts he took her back, but she so needed to come and beg forgiveness, almost groveling for it, that's the way it should have been, but women are WAAAY to proud for that, us men have no problem doing it if it's for love, true love, but women have so far to go, and the sad part is, 99% of them don't care to even bother, they're all Satan's Mistress's...

Guys, seriously, stay away from Yuko san's personality, she'll betray you in a minute, and NOT CARE ABOUT IT!!!!! Wow, even for sex, I would so stay away from that one, she's scary, no thank you ma'am, oh yeah, hehe, she makes me shiver, yikes.... I'm so outta here... And there are some here on MDL exactly just like her, and they KNOW just who they are, and they KNOW it too. That's who I'll be getting flack from, just watch the comments and how their typed... Hehe.. :)))

I had this at a 9, but after rewatching it, I had to drop it down to an 8, the father I could handle, because I understood him, he was being a good father, he was truly worried about her, at first he just didn't like the kid because he didn't like him, and found excuses to make him look bad, example, doing research on him, a background check, but I fully understood him where he stood, but he was still willing to give a kid the chance, but then, sadly, he changed, but the brother was just an obsessive, asswipe, obnoxious, real prick of an asshole. No other word for him, just a real scum of a pig, too much for me... Otherwise, this story was pretty much perfectly done, the romance, the chemistry was out of this world. I didn't like how Yuko san betrayed, that so didn't have to happen, you don't go out with someone out of guilt of hurting him, and that's just what she'd done, she felt bad so she decided to give him a chance, you only get together with someone because and only because you love that person, it's unfair to that person otherwise. And WOMEN, stop hitting us men, women who hit or slap men, for ANY reason, are fucked in the head, seriously!!!!! We're not to hit you, what gives you the right to hit us men? Even in playing around, it's wrong wrong WRONG!!!

The drama wasn't tragic, and I really liked that. There's no big overly emotional moments. I think it's the first…
Beautiful Life is just that, beautiful, but it will forwarn, very sad last episode, but for me it was the top of all tops of Asian drama's and Asian Masterpieces. Just make sure you have a healthy supply of tissue handy, would love to get your take on it though, when you're finished it. :)))

I so agree, just a gorgeous story, only thing I would have done differently was not have her being engaged to be married, she'd still be single, she's next to giving up hope on them, but she's still there waiting, numb, but waiting for them to happen again, that's the way I would have had it, That would have made it a real masterpiece, a top level 10... A KICKASS 10!!!! But the romance and chemistry in this was just out of this world, the last time I'd seen this was when it was airing in 2006, when I was still married in Japan, I so loved this back then, that's why I gave it a 9, her being engaged just really cheapened the story for me a bit, but watching it again will bring back really awesome memories with my daughter, and one of the good times together were watching these dramas... I'm so on you will your feelings concerning this drama... :))) My first taste of Japanese romance drama's was He Is My Ex-Boyfriend, it was airing on the Japanese channel here in the Falls at the Sheraton, my next taste was an excerpt of Long Vacation, where she calls him Senpai, but my first drama and my ultimate favourite for the ending, was Star No Koi, it's my first watched/love Japanese or Asian drama. My second was the Taiwanese drama, Silence, when I was in Japanese, that was my 2nd love romance, that was my start to Asian dramas and I have to say, this drama it's so at the top top, Beautiful Life is the only one that tops them all for my most romantic drama, it was so perfectly and beautifully done...

Great until the very end, which was slightly rushed - the final scenes were somewhat disappointing, since I personally…
Hehe, I remember watching this when it was just airing when I was in Japan, my does that bring back memories, good and bad, but thinking on the good, them's were good times. Funny thing though, I don't remember seeing the romance, our leads were just friends and remained close friends I thought, oh well, will make this my 3rd on the list for currently watching next drama to watch, I really enjoyed the show back then, so I don't think there's anything in it that will upset or disappoint me like the Korean writers do.... I do seem to remember being disappointed in the ending as well, in that I had wished to see them get together, not stay just close friends, that's what I seem to remember, hehe, that show was 9yrs ago... :)))

I so wanted to give this much higher, but could only give it a 7, and that was for the lowlife scum pigass bastard Morii Ranmaru for whoring around with a married woman, and she was even more of a lowlife scum swine slut whore, no other polite words for her, she's a real capital C___!!! Go get a divorce. Once again a drama has shown a REAL woman, her truest form, betrayal and infidelity, best at being cruel, cunning, and crafty, like Suzu chan, women are so at the best and being the best when it comes to cruelty, us men will never EVER come close to be on the same level as women when it comes to cruelty, especially against their own kind, Women are just the UTMOST best in causing hurt and pain, THE BEST!!! I would have rated this much lower than a 7 for the cheating whore, and the Slut bastard, but the writer so knows a woman of her truest form, and so that credit brought it up to 7... Liked everything else otherwise... :)))

This was trash long before it even started, who wrote this drama??? The moment she left him because he was poor it was over for her, there is no going back, and to brink the ex-boyfriend back into the picture, same thing, whoever the hairbrained idiot is that wrote this drama, wow, whoever wrote the Korean version really did a really shitty job, but this one never had a chance thanks to this writer. I'm going to have to find someone to do the typing with me, to help me out, I'm so going to do this one over again, the way it's supposed to be written, not this garbage, nothing is good in this drama, absolutely nothing. At first I thought they so used the wrong actress for the main role, but they chose the right one, she's a real skank ass bitch, one that I can so see being like this in real life, she's really showing her true colours here... I haven't even seen this, I know they're getting together in the end, and that is what will destroy this drama even more, she is so not the right match for him as his main lead actor, and I'm not talking the characters either, I'm talking the actors themselfves, at all at all. Just a so poorly written and idiotic written drama, one that should never have even made it to the airwaves... This writer so doesn't have a grasp on life or what life is even about, likewise with love, she just has no idea at all at all... Most horrible... This character, I would have been like Ernest Hemingway in In Love and War where Sandra Bullock's character comes to him and begs forgiveness and begging for another chance, like him, I would have sad, I forgive you but it's too late, the way she looked down on him and her father in this drama was too much, and the way she continually rubbed it in his face, no, she should have died suffering and regretting of her very own actions. I can only give this a 1, and that's only because episode 2 was super hilariously funny, and that's the only reason. The title so shouldn't be My Fair Lady, but My Cruel and Worst Lady. Like I said, this was trash longer before it even started, it was trash the moment this writer put it in his head what to write for this drama. Most terrible...

when I commenced this drama, I saw a bad ending awaiting in the end korean can't support the idea of bad marriage…
Thanks for your comment, the synopsis is so misleading compared to what you've written, I would have sat down thinking I was watching a real heartwarming and most beautiful story, and you saved me the heartbreak and anger and disappointment of watching it, this one is so going to be shredded from my hard drive the moment I'm done commenting, again, thank you so much Soumatra for sharing, thank you... Just a footnote, the Koreans are the best at ruining an otherwise beautiful drama...

Just completed this drama and words fail me to describe my disappointment at what can be considered a travesty…
I am in absolute total agreement with you on ALL points. So very well known of Korean writers, they just seem to love to kill a beautiful or potentially beautiful story, it almost seems like they're obsessed to kill or destroy an otherwise awesome drama, and witht the Taiwanese, when the writer destroys a drama, it's even worse, Fall In Love With Me is a PERFECT example, they had to even cut the drama by about 4 or 5 episodes because of that writer killing the drama, when what happened, the ratings just spiraled and hit rock bottom, it was a real travesty as you put it, at least usually with the Japanese, you can usually sit back and just enjoy with no worries of them killing an otherwise beautiful story... I could only give it a 5, and that was just for the romance between the main leads, and even then I was hugely disappointed, out of a rating of 10 for the romance alone, it would be a 5 as well, it could have been so much better written alone, forget about the rest of the drama... But oh well, that's Korean writers, I find there are few and far between really good drama's written by Korean writers, when they're good, they're awesome, but very rare to find, you have to watch the movies to get the goodness from them, Korean drama's are trash but their movies are great... All of course in my most humblest of opinions... :)))

You are so right, I once saw a father pulling his 3-5yr old daughter through a parking lot, and he was parked near the end, it was pretty far, anyway, when I saw it, I blew up at the bastard, but when women feel that, that they don't like that, either side side realized that, there would be none of the above, and any kind of manlandling, man or woman... The movie was a bit raunchy as you said, especially him with his ex when they were still together, if you're gonna have it have it with the main leads, the main couple, right? The romance part of it was written very well, of which is very rare. I just really loved the feel of it... Something I'd love to have, without the manhandling, slapping, even in fun, hitting, kicking, none, no violence whatsoever... :)))

I hear ya, and I see it a lot of times where the main lead is down as the main supporting lead, as in the 2nd male lead, and it's only because the 2nd male lead is better looking, cuter looking that he's down as the main lead in order of characters here, it's so crazy, that's why I usually pay attention to the synpsis.

sound like a sad drama. so i decided to not watch this drama. yeah, i avoid from sad/depressed/tragic dramas like…
This drama is probably taken from the American movie, of which was written from true events, called The Vow. I read the synopsis for the Korean version, a most terrible remake of a beautiful movie, they have it where she was on her way to get a divorce from her husband when she had the car accident, and then, judging from the comments, she remembers everything, and is just being a real selfish bitch, but then about 75% of Korean drama's are ruined by the writer anyway, so I won't watch something that is supposed to be a remake of a beautiful story but has been turned around like that to leave a bitter taste in your mouth. The Vow, a strongly recommended watch. I don't want to ruin it by saying anything, but to say the whole story from beginning to end is just really heartwarming. I hated the asswipe brother in it, he's just plain horrible.
