(this is someone else's comment) Yes, Dong Cheol deserved to be recognized for what he did for Sang Mi. He lost so much and was 100% a victim. However, I do not like how some of ya'll are saying that Sang Mi owes him an "apology" or a "thanks" when she LITERALLY did that already. She thanked him at the prison and then thanked him on that bridge and AGAIN when they were at that house. People seem to be only looking at Dong Cheol as the victim when this poor girl was literally almost SA'd at school, watched her own TWIN BROTHER k*ll himself, watched her mom go crazy, watch her dad get sucked into this weird cult, was literally kidnapped for THREE YEARS/ not allowed to leave the church, almost k*lled by that weird apostle guy, watched someone who was like another brother to her get RAN OVER BY A TRAIN RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER & her own dad tried to sell her off to this pastor who literally wanted to r*pe her. Like yes Dong Cheol went through a lot but lets not act like Sang Mi didn't. Don't be blaming her if she didn't "thank him" enough when she's literally been through more than any of those boys combined.
