As others pointed out, it'll be his first name that is similar to Kongthap (or the same). My guess is his name is Pholkongthap, cause it has a military meaning and they made a point to show his father is in the military + it's only two extra characters which could easily have been erased (พล).

It's not a thriller, but there are a few dark parts. Mostly romance +friendship drama/comedy.

Most of GMMTV's varieties are definitely over-produced to the point homogeneity since the current online content team took over. I would prefer if GMMTV made less of their content revolve around ships overall; the first season of Safe House wasn't ship-based casting and it was arguably the best season. Maybe tied with the third. But then, I don't watch compilations or reels. I just watch the shows.

So while I would agree that GMMTV's online varieties are overly scripted, can't say I would agree for Thai variety shows overall

I didn't say "most popular," I said "more popular," which is a big distinction. As a T-pop fan and Thai speaker, I'm under no illusions about the size of GMMTV; I would absolutely agree that BUS and Proxie are bigger, especially since their shows aired on One31 and CH3 and they just have overall better management. Doesn't take away from the fact that LYKN have a big following and pack venues.

While they did debut not quite a year ago and are still growing, what are you talking about? They had the second most viewed T-pop group debut of 2023 and are the second most trended group of April only following BUS. William's episode of Piano & I comes out today.

I like behind-the-scenes documentaries and interviews too and we'll no doubt get them, but that's not what we're talking about here. I personally am a big fan of Thai variety shows and found Safe House to be one of GMMTV's better ones.

Oof. In the last season of Safe House, there was "unintentional" black face and a rape joke and they never fully recovered from it. In general, that season was really poorly received. (Only spoilering cause I don't wanna bring this comment section down)
