queen of tears has an amazing cast and although baek hyunwoo's perfect character is fun in the beginning I feel like it went overboard with how perfect he was. while there were a lot of refreshing tropes like the divorce, the brother's story, the aunt's and the son-in-laws' story, the show still resorted to an obsessive second lead, evil stepmother, secrets behind birth, amnesia, at times it felt like a borderline makjang drama. I did enjoy the first 10 maybe 12 episodes but after that it was kind of a drag. I honestly only started it cause of the BSS ost.

i do really love the cast like I adore a lot of their other projects esp my liberation notes

i watched this drama years ago and i dont think I'm over the trauma yet, someone needs to take that comedy tag out
