LYL is not an important character in the novel but the director gives him more screen time than the main couple, Situ Weilian was the one who turned Milan; he changed it, There were a lot of cute Mi Lan and SZH scenes he didn't put them in. People on weibo are mad; they are saying if he changes a lot, he should just write fiction by himself and stop ruining the novel. They are saying the director made the male lead, the second male lead, and the female lead all Lyl's tools. They attacked him so hard for the ending that he couldn't handle the criticism, so he closed his weibo. Maybe he will open again, but it just proves we are all not alone in feeling LYL has so much screen time and he doesn't deserve that for a boring character. Then we learned most of his scenes do not even exist in the novel, and the director probably has a big fetish for this character. Now he released a bonus happy ending for mad people but it made people more mad. Director Li Muge deserves all criticism.

The director closed his weibo because he know he fucked up, he ruined Situ's character, and he changed a lot of good scenes of Shen and Mi Lan. The drama started so strong now i feel so empty. Because some changes were unnecessary (Not the changes he has to change because of censorship talking about others.)

Situ was worse in first episodes after JJX, but at least he had some character development and trust me, he won't betray Shen for some pvssy, you are mad for Situ for this but LYL is the only offering to this when one of them is human and other is not

Everything about the train scene and the after the train scene was well-directed. Li Muge also deserves flowers for his good job. The directing, the acting in these scenes, and the cinematography all look so good.
