"Special A" was the one with the rivalry and "Maid-Sama" is also has a somewhat similar plot. But may favourite between the two is "Maid-Sama". I really like dramas where the male lead is rich (and sometimes with hidden identity) and capable, and the female lead is 2nd only to the male lead. My favourite J-drama is "Rich Man, Poor Woman". I watch a lot of English dramas and in the mid of 2012 I got into Anime and in Dec 2012 I got addicted to K-drama after watching my 1st Asian drama "City Hunter".

Other than the romantic aspect of "Bride of the Century" there is a supernatural aspect as well thought you should know before hand considering your thoughts on "The Master's sun".

You watch a lot of J-drama right? I was into anime a while back and I was wondering if there is a drama like the anime "Maid-Sama, Special A, or Toradora!" I don't know if you've seen them but one's a story of a strong female best at everything only second to the male lead and they have a rivalry and later develops in to a romance.

MY GIRLFRIEND IS A NINE-TAILED FOX
Bride Of The Century
To the Beautiful You
Myung Wol the Spy
Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy
My Love From Another Star
Heartstrings
The Master's Sun, etc
It's not that they stay together for that one year but they separate or so for that year. It was admirable in some cases but for some it seemed very stupid. There were couple of dramas that got ruined for me after the finale. I'd still watch'em again though :D

I can say the same for the "Bride of the Century" "neither of the main leads carry any feelings other than friendship for either of the 2nd leads..."

2nd male lead develops romantic feelings for the female lead but she only thinks him as a brother. so one sided love from the 2nd male lead.

Not so much of a love triangle in "Bride of the Century" because the main leads have a strong unwavering connection. "The Master's Sun" is more like a comedy for me with some horror. It is a shame but I'm unable feel scared and frighten watching dramas or movies but strangely I like horror genre very much. The most sad ending for me would be the death of female lead. I came across one K-drama last year where the female lead dies nearly at the end but is reincarnated and reunited before the end. It had one of my favourite K-actress so it was very sad day for me. But I loved the drama.

ha ha I get that bro. I too hate love triangles specially if the leading lady has feeling for both male leads because that just pisses me off :)

Not "Emergency Couple". I too eagerly waiting for the last two episodes of CSL.

I love "Lee Min Jung" I 1st saw her in "Big" then in "Cunning Single Lady" and "Who Are You?". I have "Boys Before Flowers" in my collection but still haven't been able to watch it. Every time I try to watch it some thing pulls me back. :)

The exactly same ending that you are hoping for "Cunning Single Lady" happened to a drama that recently ended. :D

Why is it always "one year later" in the final episode. Most of the finales were like that in the dramas I watched recently. It's starting to get a bit annoying.
