Title I Am Solo
Just started binging this show..really fun, the season before the current one is my favorite. Really dislike the ones where the love triangle drags on, as it just stops being fun. Especially seasons 6 and 7 where there were 2 nerdy dudes who somehow ended up in big love triangles but they were so awkward and it really made no sense why these women were competing so hard besides just wanting to show off on tv. nowhere else to put this, so I’ll suggest this here..it would be fun if they did a season with 12 men and women who appeared on the show before and are still single now.

Just binged this on viki, I watch a lot of American reality shows like this but this was my first Korean show like this. Pretty fun, even though I don’t see any of the couples that made it lasting after the show. Can recommend other shows like this I should check out with better couples?

Title 18 Again Spoiler
Can anyone explain why the ML friend, the FL and even her friend didn’t question the science of how dae young turned younger? It’s like once they accepted that he was younger, they didn’t seem to question how it happened and just acted like it was a normal thing. I get the show may not want to focus too much on the sci-fi aspect, but it was very jarring when this kept happening.

This was a pretty good watch, though I really don't get where they were going with 2ML plotline. It's like they wanted some drama, but also never wanted to stray the series from being fluff so they just ignored that plotline. I get that it seems like they were writing with a 2nd season in mind, but I really don't think they did a good job with that. Like they could have resolved some things better, especially in the last stretch of episodes than just doing random plotlines like the diet episode.

I really expected myself to not like this show because I don't enjoy watching shows with a love triangle, but really glad I decided to say screw it and binged it this week. It really seemed like the writer of this drama understood we as a audience have seen a lot of similar tropes in noona dramas and decided to do small twists and turns that made this a fresh experience to watch. My main gripe is the office romance with the third couple should have been shown a lot more as I was ended up mostly being invested in them rather than the FL. I also liked that the 2nd ML was a genuinely fun character to watch, I was never rooting for the relationship but he was just a very fun and relatable person to root for.

its not rly taboo.. its pretty normal.. they are not related but blood so there is no problem what so ever. I…
Is it normal? I am not knocking this couple or the idea in theory because technically there is no blood relation, but in my real life I can say I've never seen a step siblings date and the idea of that is often mocked in pop culture. And while you are right tha ttechnically a step brother and sister can date without it being a issue legally, it would end up leading to both social and family issues.

Again, I enjoyed the drama and would recommend it. But is it a sticky situation and some people could easily get turned off by the idea of the plot.

Once you get past the awkward step brother/sister taboo, this is honestly of the best fluff romcoms I've seen. And as someone who loves SITR, it's been so fun seeing the unique ways they incorporate elements of that drama into this. It really does handle the things I disliked about SITR in ways that make it easier to tolerate here like the annoying parernt and the psycho ex boyfriend.

That said, I still recommend anyone watching this who somehow didn't watch SIT to watch that drama as the chemistry between the leads in that one is so much better and those scenes where the ML would take the FL home are still my favorite scenes in a kdrama.
On You Are My Spring May 22, 2022
This was like 2 dramas in one and I can't understand why the director/writer would do the drama this way. i finished it, but am just confused at the direction of the show as I don't think I've ever seen a kdrama have such contrasting plotlines in a show before. Like, on one end there is a fluff romance happening as well as a side characters having romance troubles but on the end there is a killer/mystery with dr chase happening and it was very weird how the 2 plotlines didn't merge very well or ever conflict with each other. This isn't even really a crticism as I found myself bored by the killer story after the first few episodes and just skipped to the romance scenes, which I did enjoy and kept watching for.

To anyone debating whether to give this a try, if you like fluff dramas just go for it.The main couple is great and while there is a love triangle, it really isn't that annoying since it's so obvious where things will go. Also there are 2 other couples that get some development in the show that are just as great as the main leads. I still have 2 episodes left and I'm already bittersweet it's ending.
