JUST MY OPINION : As someone pointed out below I actually loved the original guest actress who played Yang Cai Wei before the switch occurred. That love story and chemistry with the ML was actually really good The FL was better as the evil Shangguan Zhi. She’s not capturing the same charm in the Yang Cai Wei role as much as the other actress, in my opinion.I couldnt feel that she is the original yang cai wei ...It felt a whole new girl has come and the og YCW is lost .I think its mainly because she has her own interpretation of the character ..Its like she was told to act as a good generic girl next door but she didnt fully become the og YCW..Nothing about the acting is wrong its maybe just the character interpretation
