Just finished it. A well-made drama that serves visual with beautiful actors, costumes, and CG. Every case is interesting, the action scenes and camera works are great. I can't comment on the mechanism, but it's really sound convincing.
Since Cheng Yi stars in this, I started to watch the drama with a mindset "he will die at the end", it's better to prepare my fragile heart. So, the ending is not so shocking.
The plot twist is so twisted and I enjoyed it. While I was watching, i thought the writer is really kind to our male lead, LXY suffered a lot, but he was never really alone after he met FDB, even when they quarreled and FDB left LXY, there was Su Xiao Yong.
Btw, if there was an award for the most annoying character, I'm sure that Xiao Zi Jin would undoubtedly get it.
Based on the images/poster I saw, Xiang Yun is Chang Hai. And from Xiu Ming's flashback, Chang Hai looked kind. Does it mean that 30k years ago, Chang Hai and Chu Kong love each other, but because of some reasons and some people (like XM and Hao Xuan maybe) Chang Hai died and Chu Kong's memories got erased or locked?
The drama doesn't follow the novel, so I think the real angst is still far in the future guys, this lifetime' torture is just tip of the iceberg.
