Wan'er's issuse is she's kind of boring, she's the nice and polite ideal girl you marry, I know the story made…
At first I thought he might need Wan'er for her support or rather the strength of her family but now considering who FX is, he doesn't need it. And yeah Wan'er might be the calm that fx needs at time but still the interaction or more the playfulness between fx and Wan'er was just too good. Like I said I prefer my leads to be fixed and never have the sls but this is one of the rare times... :)
Not going to say about the ending because was already expecting something like that and as far as the show is concerned it's good but comparing it with NIF isn't fair because it's totally different as this is a little lighter and less serious then NIF which actually also works considering it's supposed to be a very long story. Just one thing that really bothered me at the last arc was - usually I am someone who likes my leads to be fixed and support them from the start to the end ( one of the reason why I think where Western dramas fail ) and for the most part of the show I was happy with Waner even though she had relatively less to do and I thought maybe she will get more involved in the future but things got messed up when they introduced Dou Dou because the more they showed her with Fan Xian the harder it got not to ship her.
I wish more people could watch this drama because it's one of those that gradually grow on you and by the end you don't want it to finish. The cases were more believable that really could happen and not over the top and also really liked the way they solved it which was also logical and understandable which made me love it. Another good thing was how they did the romance aspect. It didn't happen too fast or take long. The pacing was perfect and you actually understood why they started to " CARE " for each other. Most thriller suspense shows mess up romance but here it made sense because they didn't like each other or love each other but cared and understood one another. Really going to miss the team. I hope to find another drama like this...
I really hope I remember about this when it's over and also that the reviews are generally good as it is now. As it is with T dramas because they take so long to finish airing and subbing either I forget about them or the reviews take a 180 turn.
The drama isn't about time travel but dimensions. In every dimension there is LZW and HYX.
