yeah you could argue a lot about the plot and about how things came to but, if for nothing else you should watch for Hyun Bin. This guy has given some of the best naturally good acting i have seen in a while. In no way was his character something simple that anyone could have done it. There was so many emotions involved and he portrayed them perfectly that i had even watched a few scenes more than once just to appreciate it. As for the ending, it was an open ending and not something totally awefull that many comments had suggested. i am actually glad it was open because i would definitely watch a second season if it is made.
Peeps, I have seen many shows during my life. But having just finished Ever Night S1, I have never felt more empty…
I would recommend you watch Nirvana in Fire 1 first. No matter how many good dramas come out, that is going to remain the best Asian drama for many, atleast in terms of story, acting and direction.
After finishing the show there's so many things on my mind right now, one of them being why the hell was Kang…
they made everything about CWK that every other character story got messed up. honestly felt it would have been a better show it there was no CWK and it was about JH and SY.
at the end i feel not satisfied. this drama had a very good potential with a very unique plot but they didnt live up to it. the main problem for me was they put too much importance on CWK character and tried to built the story around her and doing so made the show totally imbalanced. more so because the character of CWK wasnt really that good one and also annoying a lot. it didnt also help that around 60%, the story becomes predictable by each episode and the lack of thriller also made it feel really slow. but still glad that they atleast tried to make something different and it was exciting for a while.
This wasn't just a story of BJS redemption but also of the writer getting his act together, just a little bit late. But the best thing was that BJS really and truly changed from someone hateful. Usually in this character growth dramas, at first the guy is shown a complete jerk and when the transformation is happening they give a backstory which justifies his behaviour. But in this one there was nothing like that. Even in his backstory BJS was a jerk which makes his transformation a special one. But there was something that did make a difference. From the start of the drama I felt BJS was a lot like Sheldon Cooper. Him being the way he was wasn't totally his own fault but also because of people around him. Because no one actually told him anything and just kept cursing behind, he didn't know what he was doing wrong. And I think that was the reason for the time loop, to let him know reality. BJS and LRD could have been the couple of the year if only they didn't do the stupid triangle because honestly when was the last time you saw a salt attacking couple. The ost were also great which made watching more enjoyable.
the synopsis is totally misleading because its nothing like that and those saying this is the same as other dramas like 38 task force, i would argue that its not and also that it might be even a little bit better then those because this was a very serious drama hidden by a bit of comedy. Its not one those drama which might make your mind blow and keep you at edge of seat because you mostly know whats happening and whats going to happen but what it does is make you think. Think about why those things were happening or why they doing what they were doing. And also the relationship between the five was just done perfectly without trying to make it something amazing. obviously there were some very good ost that made moments.
she is a year older than me..... '0'
