I really enjoyed watching this drama. It was light, romantic, funny but meaningful. Amazing acting and chemistry between the actors/es, pretty good fights and nice script/plot, a complete package, well done. I hope there will be a 2nd season, I will look forward watching it.
GYJ was the original naksu though? It would've been awkward if GYJ was the original naksu then JSM was Mudeok…
They could make either actress as the lead, it didn't matter. But trauma or her way of living or deep resentment should at least influenced her character though.
More romance in this 2nd season, I guessed that's why they chose the younger actress GYJ as the female lead, for better visual. But what I didn't understand was why female lead character was changed in the 2nd season. I saw as she was more childish, easy going, less thoughtful, no assassin aura/character, while the soul was still the same as 1st season, Naksu. Eventhough she had amnesia and influenced by JBY's personality, character should be mostly the same. Some parts of the story details should be better and more synchronized too. But I enjoyed both seasons anyway, still worth to watch.
One of the best dramas that I have ever watched and wouldn't mind to rewatch it. Heartwarming, quite amusing, entertaining, light and very enjoyable. We learn that every family member is important. Everyone has their own strength. Love and respect each other.
This drama is really not for someone who expects romcom drama between adults/matured people. I found too many characters (including FL) were not matured enough for people who were in late 20s or 30s. It's about conversation between the cells, which were childish (it's cartoon, what do you expect). The characters do not have nice conversation between them, no funny talks, very little heart to heart chat, too bad. So the FL keeps feeling miserable because of her own thoughts. Her life is actually blessed, if only she appreciates it more. Her problem is actually not hard compared to many other people's difficulties.
When I started to watch this drama, I knew the ending was not a perfect ending. In spite of the ending, I still fully watched the drama. No regrets at all. It was very enjoyable. The actors and actresses, the plot, the OST, I loved everything. It is about an imperfect life that everyone faces. The result is not the most important thing, but the process which matters, which makes us appreciate every precious moment that won't last forever. Anyway, I couldn't believe that the FL is actually 4 years older than the ML. She pictured her character very very well, then I really believed she was a high school or college student in real life. No wonder she won award for this drama. I watched the drama for NJH, but end up really loved KTR.
I like how the writer made the characters' traits. There's not many evil hearted people. The agency CEO, managers, staffs and film crews were mostly kind hearted and only want to do their job correctly, socialise and make money. It's just they all like gossiping, but still in a reasonable way. In general, it's human nature. It is important to have some good FRIENDS. To help us keep our sanity. Very entertaining, funny and heart warming drama. It made my day!

It would have been better if the drama ended when Zijin and Zhanji had their own complete family, then my heart would be really satisfied. Anyway, great job for the Royal Feast team.
