The carriage scene seems to be the turning point of jxn for xw. Loved the self conversation, the small action of soothing him by gently ease his intense brows, his plea in cave to give it up is the little window of how he lived, in fear, in anger, in trauma, in revenge yet deep within he longs the love he once knew from his mum, the love of Ning2 whom he deemed understood what he was going through but yet would not abandon him. He didnt abandon his Prince at 7yo but was abandoned by his dad... yes what he did in forcing the kiss is not right, yet i wandered why didnt jxn leave him in the lurch and not once but twice continued to remain. Was he the only one she remained even though her life was at stake? Did she actually unknowingly fell for xw or perhaps depended on him unknowingly too? Or maybe she knew he needed her?
