I thought, like what many commentators said, the 2 ladies got less annoying after episode 2... 😅 episode 3 onwards the drama was much more enjoyable. Nice to see Tan Jianci again after Xiang Liu's role...
This drama began with the fact people will judge and gossip what they hear and not on the truth. And this will cause many to try to keep up appearances, all for face value and ego. People can sure pass comments thoughtlessly and hurtfully but the fact remains - only the one experiencing it will know. And if gossipers doesnt give a damn on the truth or helping a wounded person heal..., then why bother letting their trash stain victims or worse still cleaning up the rubbish they say?
Just a thought... on how exhausting it is to keep up with appearances trying to please everyone, especially naysayers who doesnt care about their victims at all and only using them as convo objects.
To some extent i really liked how no one in family of FL or friends knew the 2 major events of her life yet before the reconciliation with her mum.... coz this showed they embraced her with grace.
Not because of the merits for what she achieved, nor because of pity for what happened to her, but... just because, very simply because, she is their daughter, their sister, their friend. She needed to be embraced unconditionally and loved without credentials, to be accepted be it during the awesome highs or disgraced lows...
Chaotic and loud FL and mum may well be trying to mask the chaotic heart within... the inner or outer expectations they think they need to fulfill could well coz them to cave in unknowingly and outwardly putting up a front that they are unbeatables. Am looking forward to how the healing process unravels...
