Issue starts when wife just sits around and spending money, starts cheating and don't tell the children respect the dad or family.
There are many wife's who works part time and video call everyday, no disrespect for them.

Mostly the wife from middle class and want to upgrade the social class, if he says no, daily fighting in family.
Issue with the alcohol is that its super cheap, its cheaper then good meal, so these people save each penny so they can send to children. also high stress + junk food + no money = low testosterone = no cheating.
this is the reason low birth rate and all other stuff
when you look at this from outside you can tell its a clown show but if you meet these people you would know how messed up entire thing is.

"why i am working hard "why i am earing this much but living in a pigsty and never had a proper meal or bought a new cloths in years" "why i am even sending money to people don't even call me or care about me""
but when your 24 hours becomes a routine and no elders in life to advice or some kind of mental health help from professionals he never once stops and think.
unlike west mental health/depression got a stigma attached to it also its cost a lot.
I seen many of these people in my life, their rooms are nothing but a single bed and filled with junk food containers and empty bottles, just a walking zombies.
in the drama he got like big empty house but in reality its starts out like that but they move to 고시원 to save money.

women don't even touch a broke husband living in shared room in student hostels with ten foot pole, while if you see the the wife they dress nicely and don't work and goes to vacations + all the cheating. children's don't care about it because the mom is the one giving them money (enough though its a dad money).
unless wife request divorce, nothing will change for him, only instance where its has a happy ending is when wife living with relatives (not friends).
