The taxi driver committed a murder before he went for Sol. It was turning into a cold case. Perhaps Sol prevented her own accident by getting to him first. Just my guess.

I meant after she went back to 2008 the 3rd time, the time line where she prevented the first time he saw her.

Wrt the taxi driver, I think she probably worked with TS's dad & got him arrested for the murder he committed. Then in 2023, he is back for revenge because he found out about her.
