this genuinely felt like the best thing I've watched in years. I didn't watch cdramas before so I can only compare this to kdramas and wow they are so flawed right now. TES reminds me of the old kdramas with toxic leads, problematic plots and characters, actual issues that take a long time to be resolved. I'm always dissapointed by cookie cutter leads that are too perfect and weak plot twists or problems that are fixed in 15 minutes because creators are so afraid to dissapoint viewers. This felt so different, everything felt so real, I wanted to root for the characters so much. The characters are so lived in, the plot is so so good, the timing is perfect, the chemistry is unmatched and even the cinematography is incredibly beautiful. Please recommend me more cdramas of this level!!
ngl I was so bored during the last ep..why add problems if they will be solved in 20minutes? there really was no tension after like 8 episodes, it started to feel like a waste of time
my first cdrama! I'm only on ep1 but really excited to watch this. The plot seems really interesting, main leads have chemistry already and I really love how artistic the visuals look
I'm always dissapointed when love triangle dramas never live up to that name. I want to always question myself and struggle with deciding who the main lead should end up with, i want the suspense and yearning from everyone. That's almost never the case and here it is clear who she will end up with. It seems like they will antagonise chan too instead of giving him proper character development
idk why there are so many negative reviews, I thought this would be so popular and well liked. Sure, it's cliché and overdramatic at times but it reminded me of old dramas with over the top acting, unbelievable plots and cringey scenes. It was honestly everything I wanted and even more
it's so frustrating when they add a bunch of subplots and don't develop them at all. we don't know what really happened with Sim Yu Geon's father, the third couple barely got any screen time, the main couple went through way too many clichés, the second couple carried the drama on their backs but didn't get enough time to really explore their relationship at the end, ML father was fully removed from the plot without any payback for what he has done, why was Oh Ha Na's mother forgiven so easily too??
Why make the main couple so naive in their decisions??? I understand growth and taking time apart because they clearly don't know how to be in a healthy and stable relationship but you can't give the FL "character development" and make the ML a pathetic loser that doesn't know how to live without his first love since ep1. Why did he remain so dependant on the FL?

this drama might have some flaws but I'm obsessed with the dynamic of both main and second lead couples. Hopefully this will keep up because i've been giggling and kicking my feet during every episode
Well first of all that teacher is a bitch. Some of the parents of the kids shouldn't even have the right to live..And I don't understand Jaei wanting to protect Rian at all costs. He's not a bad person but letting abuse and bullying happen when you're so influential and not being able to apologise is so low. I love Hera though with all her flaws she still has goodness in her heart. Enjoyable to watch overall
well..yet another drama with wasted potential. I love the leads but the plot isn't moving forward, it's spinning round and round and we will get a happy ending when it's 5 minutes left in ep 16 as always
